    Now that I see how it works, I think the delay of 5 (it is rounds we are talking about, right?) seems a little high for the default value. I would say make it 1 or two, and document how you can change that. If people don't read the documentation, f**k them.

    This version of fireball gets +1 damage per die, and won't go off for from 1 to 50 segments (6 second increments) based on the command of the caster. It is a 7th level spell. This equals from 1/10 round to 5 rounds {6 seconds to 5 minutes}. How this translates into 3.5 rules is out of my field of knowledge, but I hope this helps.

    Do you mean "Holy Sword" (period)? I can't find a "Paladin Holy Sword."

    Yeah it is "Holy Sword" period. I just use the "Paladin" part because, well, only Paladins can use the spell....

    While I am here let me say that I am pretty excited about something. I was messing around with the partysys.tab files and the files that they refer to (in particular the sprite files ) and now I have a confirmed breakthrough! I did some research on this a while ago in regard to the Bigby hand files and got some results but was not aware to what extent I could use those results until now. Any kind of sigil you want to flash on a spell recipient (or whatever) I can now do ala cats grace! I can't do the bulls strength thing yet because it requires a model but the difference is pretty slim anyway.

    I already have an effect that works okay for Bear's Endurance but if anyone has, or can find, a really well defined black and white picture of a bears head without too much detail that would be great.

    I am going to use this technique for the effect for Tenser's Transformation when I find a really good black and white, heroic, warrior pic. And also probably for Iron Body when I settle on a compromise.for the spells effects.

    Re: Tenser's Transformation . . . could you script the effect to last 4 seconds, by any chance? (Give or take a millisecond. ;))

    Sorry Allyx but that won't do. Think comic book(Not Archie but say... X-men) without the colour. Simple black and white line drawing that says 'Bear' without too many details. I would prefer a full on head shot for the effect. To give you an idea, this is what I have right now

    Bigby's Hand...what can you get it to do? I'm curious, 'cause I've always desired for someone here to mod a Wand of Force; Bigby's Forceful Hand is one of its functions. The others are Wall of Force & Mordenkainen's Sword; the latter of which sprouts from the wand like a light saber...it is an awesome tool & would make a great substitute for some of the so-called 'uber' weapons.

    If we can get the spells to work, I don't see why not, but it will have to be a rod or a staff instead of a wand in ToEE (they re-classified what types of magic items can perform such functions in 3.0 and 3.5).

    Wands in 3.5 cast only one spell, rod's and staves can have many spell effects (the staff of the transmuter for example has 6 spell functions - bear's endurance, bull's strength, cat's grace, eagles splendor, fox's cunning and owl's wisdom).

    Hmm...this is going to be down the road some time and will be subject to revision as we go along but I am hoping to to get all the Bigby's Hand spells to do more or less what they are supposed to do as per the SRD.

    Allyx: It could maybe use the Rod of Smiting model (sized down a little..?), as it would be swung in combat in like fashion. It's blade would extend from the end of the wand like a light saber. It is +5, has the length of a bastard sword & the speed of something much smaller & lighter. It is not a light saber, though...only cutting 5" of stone at a pass, or .05" metal. Fighters can use the Wall of Force & Mordenkainen's Sword abilities, Magic Users also get the Forceful Hand ability. It's really the perfect tool for them; my PnP PC bard has had one for years. Beads of force could also be created; they'd have the look of a black pearl & act like Otiluke's resiliant sphere. They could be thrown by hand or used as sling ammo.

    One last thought...okay, more than one...about sling ammo. Magic bullets in general (+1, +2, etc.) Do these exist? Can they be made? All sorts of things can get hurled by sling, including Chromatic Orbs (the lvl 1 Illusionist spell) & missiles from a necklace of Missiles (aka fireballs). They can turn the tide if used wisely.

    Gaear: We already have lots of things, but still, more are added frequently. Some of a lot more questionable value. I only suggest this as something players might enjoy. Would this even look like what the Mordenkainen's Sword spell looks like? I've never used that in this game, although I envision a floating weapon of some sort striking out at opponents. The Wand & Beads are in the Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun, so it might be worth a look into doing them for that module, if it's somewhere in the future of what this community is going to do. Before you say it, I know there's plenty going on without even thinking of another module, but it could enhance ToEE & KotB as well.

    Variety. Options. To make the game more interesting/better. It's what this place is supposed to be about...at least that's my way of thinking.
