    Well I think the shady guard was the same faction as the other guards to stop you murdering the First Contact guy outside the pub with impunity: I can fix that :)

    I'd also like to report the strange Summon Doors spells. On a road random encounter, I meet 6 hobgoblins. I web then, pepper with missile weapons, and finish 2 off with a sound burst. As they drop, 2 locked doors appear. After the fight ends I have to unlock on door to loot the guy, but even more strange, I don't have to walk back though the door to get to the next guy.

    Obviously not a major problem, just a funny quirk.

    I've had It more than once now with using soundburst, strange.

    Oooo, ok that explains it: I must have left my experimental 'drop weapons when stunned' script in Soundburst. (Obviously its not finished).

    So thats where I left it!

    Ah, that explains it. When i drop my weapon, a door appears. Wait...what...

    General Ghoul -

    It was once explained to me that doors are kinda like generic placeholder items for stuff the game doesn't have a real pic or model for (the same way the blue Boba Fett pic is used for missing portraits.) Sounds like Ted's weapon dropping script is calling for weapons that don't have ground icons and leaving doors in their places.

    You could at least make the doors actually work to send me to a new map! :yes:

    OK I sound bursted a random group of goblins and they all dropped their maces. Then they ran up to me empty handed and got killed by AoO as they fought hand to hand. And no doors!

    That's the ToEE engine in a nutshell: do it one way one time, do it a different way the next time, and no code changes in between. Voodoo programming at its finest!

    What I need to do (and the reason the code is not meant to be there) is modify the strategy ai thing so that monsters who stop and grab weapons can only do a move action: otherwise, much like the game doesn't enforce proficiencies with NPCs, it also doesn't enforce changing weapons: everything is a free action. Which sorta defeats the purpose of introducing it, if it has no real effect (other than to screw the player when the monsters cast it on you ;))

    Plus, there are some bugs to iron out. Or should that be doors?

    What's up with the magic arrows? They show up as cursors to me.

    Um, they're bugged?

    Could we get something more specific than 'magic arrrows'? +1? +2? +1 silver?

    +1 & +2, both the ones off the gut with the baliff's bow and the ones on the orc warrior on the final fight.
