Noob needs help getting to Welkwood Bog

Yeah, but thats really a cheat, (in my opinion) or an oversight by Troika.

When a character is bleeding out in DnD you have to heal them, actually perform the skilled act of healing them.

You are supposed to be able to cast a spell or use a potion too, but once they are on their feet they are supposed to continue to suffer a bleeding "wound" until properly healed.

 

I agree with the amount of healing potions, but kinda disagree on the use of the heal skill. I have gave a bleeding out player a healing potion/spell backfire on me many a time when lets say he was at -5 give him a healing potion or cure light wounds bringing him to +2 but now he is prone, and as he gets up the enemy attacks of opportunity immediately take him to -10 or more and now he is dead. Espically if its a big damage dealing enemy with 10' reach like giants, ogres and trolls.
So if the fight is still going on and my bleeding out charecter is still laying there in the thick of it I find the heal skill along with the 0 level cure minor wounds quite helpful in stopping the bleeding but keeping them down, safe and out of the fight.

 

I agree with you shapecharge, what you're saying is 100% correct according to TOEE.

I've found that it's not just potions, but treasure of all kinds seems easy to come by.

As for the heal skill, the clerics Orison 1hp healing is handy in the same way.
