I remember that. It feels like it was so long ago... The time of Baldur's Gate, Rollercoaster Tycoon... The golden age of PC gaming!...in a sense, at least. Yup, those were the days...
Hey, if those games wouldn't have been so crappy would we even try to make them better? The current Co8 idea was born thanks to/because of Atari's policy of publishing unfinished games. As for remarks regarding NWN2 some of the fan fixes fix more than official patches already. ;P
Well, in my opinion it's always better to have a polished game with an official editor. Of course, this is just a dream and is rarely possible (especially these days ) - Agetian
Quite a few mods are popping up for NWN2, one is actually Return to The Tower of Elemental Evil. If your curious check it out at http://nwvault.ign.com/
Another thing that pisses me off with this game: No downloadable patches. I have dialup at home, and download the patches at work/at a friends place and then burn them. But with this game? No. Pisses me off. As for mods, I will probably have to patch first.....But apart from that, the Pool of radiance mod is a possibility when it is finished (Note: POR1).
Sapper_Astro: Here is a link to the downloadable patches. http://nwn2.obsidian.net/support/patch.html I've played the PoR1 mod it's ok, mostly hack n slash imho
