Hmmm.... gotta go with GA82 on this one. MindSedge almost comes out sounding like some German phrase "mein sedge". Confusion may abound.

Maggit, as for me being brilliant, thank you! I fake it incredibly well!!

It's only for the looks actually. Not everything has to have
a meaning. See, it's really Mind's Edge but we'll write it like
this to... to mirror what our logo looks like. The logo's still
Work in Progress BTW. Our bass man has a gift for visual arts...
If you look closely you'll even see the apostrophe. ;)

The important thing is to look at it in terms of a visual representation
by means of text. Kind of like most people write KoRn, or ASHESdIVIDE...
or (həd) pe, emoticons... it's just wordplay, or more specifically CAPS play. ;P

    Confusion SHOULD abound!

Disoriented of the World, Unite! No, over HERE! :google:

As a Touring Machine, faking intelligence should be sufficient. ;)

    @ maGGit

The art work looks nice. Maybe a little austere, which may be what you want.

You might want to stretch the image vertically, and slant it right, switch white and black, etc. Depending on what you want to convey.

Keep posting the new ideas.

    Isn't a "sedge" a type of...um...lawn plant?

Hedge? Sage? New Riders of the Purple Sage?

I wasn't thinking of a hedge. Sage is probably closer.

Actually, I think sedge is a swamp plant. Sage is an herb.

And hedges are a type of shrubbery. (Saving throw vs Python reference...Failed!)

With your band's name in visual reference form, I can now see that it works and quite well too. Like the initial design. Looks like a cool game cover! (PC, PS, XBOX, etc.)

Awesome design! Love the backside photo. You guys (and girl) truly look like rock stars. Or at least as jaded and wasted as rock stars! :p

So all of us "official" Co8 members will be getting free copies of the CD, right?

    Right? Hello? Is anyone there?

Te-he. ;P That's my favourite photo of the band... and we were kind of wasted after a gig we played in Warsaw. And it wasn't the drugs, or rock and roll that got us so wasted... but the awful traffic jam we had to stand in before we got to the club. :p

EDIT: I've just checked the prices of sending stuff abroad via post... it's not that
costly as I had thought. So... I might be able to send a few CDs... :p

Or even better! I'll be sending DIY mindSedge CD kits via e-mail. Haha! :p

    Can't wait!

BTW. I'm not buying your excuse about the traffic jam, either! :stoned:

I know what "mind" means, but what's a "sedge" again? And whose that cute chick sitting next to that ugly guy in the middle?

Really, GREAT cover! Much better than notebook paper and sharpie with mispellings.

Some of my favorite photos of the people that I love are when they are tired and not posing. The real stuff comes through. ;)

    (Barten Baran, huh?)
