ok I install Co8 with no problem. But I thought Hommlet smith have all weapons masterwork, not just a few. was not whole point of this so that any weapon be viable and not need to choose based on what is looted or sold in Nulb? very great mod anyway.
The Hommlet traders require you to complete a quest for them before masterwork weapons are available, the smith requires a giants head, the carpenter needs good quality timber and the leather workers need a little more than healing Bing now if I'm not mistaken.
ok this is become my stupid question thread now. why can you tell, if I choose weapon focus: dwarven waraxe (or whatever), do I begin with a SHORTBOW in my equip inventory? this is maybe problem of original game, but if chaotic evil vignette, very silly to begin slaughter with weapon of bow, if no proficient. is this D&D rules concept, or oversight or devs? dwarves don't use shortbows, when have focus in waraxe... something else...... when i first load Co8 and play, no background music. second time and now always, nice background music. why? thank you once again.
more question, i am run front end 3.80 and disable intro movies. this works. but when check "max hps on per level up", this does not work. and yes, I save settings, then quit, then load toee.exe as normal. I do not get max hps on level up.
Not sure I follow. You exit the Front End, and start ToEE by the regular ToEE.exe? Not through Front End? If so, than that is likely your problem. You should save your settings, but you start the game through the Front End, not by using the regular ToEE.exe.
Yah, settings are enforced if you launch the game using the Launch the Temple of ELemental Evil button in the GUI of ToEEFE.
yes very stupid of me. I miss that! but it still disable intros even if stupid person use toee.exe to launch. thanks again. level up is much less chore now.
