    I've come to the conclusion that in order for monks to be as god-awful wicked as a straight fighter with the greatsword and all the proper feats, they must take either 4 or 8 levels in fighter, so they can get specialization and whatnot. My monk is currently 11th level monk, 4th level fighter and the rest I'm putting into rogue for sneak attack. Oh yeah. That's the good stuff. Almost every hit a sneak attack, and he gets a lot of attacks. Shouldn't be able to katate chop an elemental or a juggernaught though.

    The Amulet of Mighty Fists says it provides bonuses only to "natural weapons". Does this include simple wooden weapons like quarterstaves?

    No, just your fists, or if you're a shape shifting druid, claws and bite.
