Hey there Zebedee - you're back!!! Yay. As you can see, you were right when you said that ToEE modding was addictive - it was right on the money.... I have some spell fixes in the works at present, and then I have something else planned... Regarding where the belt should be for sale or not be for sale - I don't see it as my decision just because I made the item. It's up to the community as far as I'm concerned. I'm happy just to craft the thing in my games... and there's always 'give 12420'. Seriously though, I think adding to the masters shop is a definite plan, and I will go with that for now. If anyone suggests somewhere else that is balanced and fitting for the game (hard to get to and expensive) then it can be considered - I think it would have to be part of a specific quest line though really, and just for monks - it's probably not worth the effort to do. As long as it's *possible* to get the belt for parties with a monk, but without a cleric/wiz/sorc to craft it, then I'm completely satisfied. Spellslinger - you'll either have to be less bloodthirsty or train up a joinable NPC or dominated person to craft one, before offing them in a dark alley of course! (my evil party used Meleny the druid to craft up a mighty fists amulet, they kept her imprisoned as a servant in their house at Nulb until she got wind of the butchering of Hommlet :evil_laug )
Just back in civilisation for a few days. Then off again until the end of this month. Seems like you've been making leaps and bounds with the modding - Spellslinger's work and Jesse's new spells are looking tasty too. :Crazy_Lio I didn't hear howls of protest about where Blue put his groovy new chest (not posting where as he's asked us not to post spoilers) so perhaps something similar? You could even quest for it, I guess if you were feeling creative. It is a very powerful item and well worth obtaining via a quest of moderate difficulty. That might also solve any monty haul problems with putting it on any existing NPCs/monsters.
I can think of a certain young lass who might well be wearing such an item (if nothing else). Whats that hon, curry puff? Don't mind if I do
Blue's groovy new chest? Young lass? Curry puffs? WTF? I know nothing of these things of which you speak. Feel free to enlighten me (via PM if spoilerish) or you could simply stand around and laugh at the noob... hehe Shame to hear that you're only dropping by for a flying visit Zeb - care to update your inet loss thread in general? Oh, and have you seen Gaear around anywhere on your travels - he's MIA too apparently.
I think Ted means "Curry Leaf", she is that monk woman with Paida on the 4th level of the Temple of Elemental Evil. Alternatively did I mention that Lerrick in Verbobonc is an 8th level monk?
I recently beggared Cavanaugh for the first time and he is doing monk moves outside the Wench for some reason - now THAT would be a nastily sly place to put the belt.
I may have given him Improved Unarmed Strike as his 1st level feat during my updates, which is likely the source of him acting like he studied under Mr. Miyagi.
Now that's something we can all agree on. This game needs more whores! Why, I've even heard tell that Goodwife Gundigoot will get it on if the price is right!
Hommlet needs a house containing several bedrooms where each bedroom is a room with a southern view, a pretty hostess [a woman who receives and entertains guests].
yeah my CE barbarian is getting bored of the limited number of available females there are around, so started to be less picky about the available part or even the female part - hello bertram.
Well, if you've all quite finished now... lol I have updated the last download link with an updated file which should add the belt to the Bazaar shop. I've not been able to test it since I don't have a game save where that shop appears and I've been busy with other things, so it'd be great if someone can confirm that it can appear.
