Moathouse Respawn not Completing

I seem to be almost the same problem as Osaka- meet Mother, fought repawned foes, killed witch, read the note front and back- and nothing else happened. The quest shows as complete in the logbook- so why are there no drow (they should be somewhere around the Gnarley Forest, correct?)? Update: to answer my own question- and not possibly spoil anything- there's a reason that part of the note suggest that YOU WAIT TO READ IT LATER- like maybe somewhere else? Duh!
