masterwork items for an evil party.

the swords are going to be added to the next mod most likly.

you will get one as a reward for the rescue of Thrommel just like before only now it will according to your party alignment. so a NE party would get a NE sword as a reward.

now i know it doesnt really make any sense for a LG prince to be handing out evil weapons like that but for now its the best way we can think of to introduce them into the game.

Any hints on where masterwork items for an evil party may be aquired.
As we got some confirmation that there is such a location, just that its well hidden, I wanted to know where it is.

 

Glad to know that Liv is allowing to choose the weapon. I still want to end my game with the solo character when 2.0 is relased and I think it would be impossible without original scather, since there are not epic levels that may compensate the missing of other pary members. It is a quite egoistic request, I know

 

yeah i found the new merchant finally after you go through the right steps you will find him in the broken tower, to make it work you cant kill lareth you shouldnt kill the traders and you cant fight the brigands in the tower. you also need a high diplomacy skill.

well, no wonder noone finds him.

The average evil party slaughter larath because he is a pompous jerk who belittles you even while he surrenders. Seriously, I cannot envision any party actually letting him get away with it. We need another source for masterwork weapons.

Maybe a dealer of stolen goods in nulb...

Maybe this would be a better reason to become buddies with Grud Squinteye than simply having everyone like you a little better in Nulb. He is the Head Pirate in these parts, after all...being his buddy ought to get you some kind of perk, like access to better stuff through a merchant. The whole Skole/Lodriss thing would help a party gain trust as well...at least with them. Make each one have certain special items (magic and/or masterwork) for sale accessible only once one of them trusts you AND you're a buddy of Grud.

My mod 2.0 will be a bit more evil friendly

There will indeed be ways that make sense to actually get a new merchant and a new base of operations, and I am considering a new NPC as well.

It is available in 1.5 but way too hard to find/activate. It will be easier in 2.0 to pull off and things will set up for that early on...

Anyway, back to work I go...
