No offense lord_graywolfe, but I liked the elvin chain just the way it was. I hope there is an option if you want that in the mod or not. Although if it comes to a vote I will go with what ever the majority wants or even if it just comes down to Livonya's decision. My couple of pennies worth.

Count me in the "elven chain" is hideous department. I normally sell it because I just can't bear make any of my PCs wear it. Though I'll sometimes have someone wear it and then throw a monk's robe over the top so I don't have to see it.

Though I will say I'm not a fan of it looking like scale mail, either. Not sure there really is a good option for it within the game, honestly.

Great mod! Having a lot of fun revisiting this game and seeing your changes.

Couple of things. I too got the brothel teleport bug in Nulb. Party just completed the triple cross quest, got the little flash on the logbook, so after I exited Wat's joint, I opened it up and clicked on reputation, and presto, I'm next to the Madam. Like wizgeorge, I could not duplicate this.

Lot of freezeups in the tower fight, seems to always be the archer lieutenant on the left that sticks. I always started with sound bursting that area, so maybe it has something to do with stunning. When I sound bursted the group to the right instead, combat continued without lockup. Almost wished it had locked up since I got TPKed. What a great fight now!

The magical instruments are way cool, kudos to whoever made them.

Also, got the no-map exit bug on gnoll caravan map. I specifically did not click on world map until I was ready to go, since I had read of the previous problem. Yet there was no way to journey on other than the console.

Dialogue problems with Lareth that have been reported here have always been there, happened to me 2 or 3 times under vanilla and early Co8 patches.
Really annoying bug, since it tended to strip off short term buffs.

Also, Bugbear cave encounter in Moathouse. The Bugbear guard who runs to alert the clan was not on map when I entered (2 different games). No problem, figured you had him running off on 1st heartbeat or something. But in 2nd game, after pounding archers, and taking on the 2 bugbears behind the doors, he mysteriously showed up in his normal spot when cave bugbears activated.

Not really got a clue about the ADnD rules but thought I'd flag this one to see if it is working as intended.

Improved two weapon fighting cites Dex 17 as a prerequisite yet my Dex 16 Ranger could choose the feat. Might well be WAD as part of the whole ranger two-fighting thing, but seemed a little odd to me.

Rangers ignore prerequisites when taking feats as part of their Combat Style.

Just going to chalk that up to what the $###? There is no reason for it. I did a global scripts/protos/dialog check to make sure there wasn't another trigger. Nothing I could find.

Freeze ups happen when your computer can't handle all the spell effects action. Nothing I can do. I don't get freeze ups, even in the nodes like some people report. Just depends on your system and video card.

I can not duplicate this. But it doesn't matter. I WILL have a fail safe way to exit on the next release. It would be idiotic for me to not fix it.

I made no changes to Bugbears. I will check it. This may be another case where either Troika or a Co8 modder took him out (like Feldrin and Wicked). I will look into it and see if I can't "fix" it.

    Livonya,

if you are still looking for gnolls with DR, there's a group who still have it in the kitchen directly to the west of the Air Temple High Priest.

Okay, great. I didn't see them yet. I will get them fix. Hard to track all these little buggers down.

Just found a boo-boo. Dragonhide plate for druids requires armor proficiency:heavy. Armor proficiency: heavy requires armor proficiency:medium. The problem is that because of the special restrictions, Druids get Armor Proficiency: Druid instead of light and medium, like in the PHB. As such, a druid cannot take armor proficiency: heavy without spending 3 feats instead of 1. Any way to fix this Feat dependancy issue, or work around it somehow?

What do you think the logical fix should be? Just make the armor medium?

This Dragonhide Plate wasn't my creation, so I don't know how it should be built...

See, that's the problem - the armor is correct - it IS heavy armor.

The problem is that druids as per the SRD have both light and medium proficiency. In ToEE, they have armor proficiency: druid, which takes the druidic restrictions into account, but it doesn't qualify them to immediately take armor proficiency: heavy. In order to chose the armor proficiency: heavy feat, a druid would need to choose both light and medium proficiencies first.

Only two ways to fix this which I can think of.

Since dragonhide would be the only type of heavy armor a druid could wear, the most correct solution would be to create a new feat for druidic heavy armor proficiency (wheeeeeeeee), and make that feat the prerequisite for wearing dragonhide plate.

The other possible solution, which I'm really not sure the engine is capable of- would be to make either druidic or medium proficiencies qualify someone for armor proficiency: heavy. The bad side of that would be a druid could then wear normal heavy armors (I suspect).

I dont know if the first option is doable either. If neither of these options is feasible, it might make sense to just pull the armor out, because only druids which took a level of fighter would be able to use it.

The other things I'd like to point out: I have no idea why someone would choose "dwarven full plate"- it appears to be pretty much the same as masterwork full plate, but reduces the armor penalty by one. Same AC, same max Dex bonus. As much armor penalty as any type of full plate adds, subtracting one from it is pretty insignificant - I think dwarven plate is 7 penalty instead of 8 on masterwork. Anyhow, the difference is negligable, but the price differential is enormous. Unless there's some hidden attributes to the dwarven full plate which are not visible anywhere in the description, it's pretty pointless. Either it ought to be less expensive, or a description which tells about any additional properties ought to be added.

Last, how about adding a mithral chain shirt to the list of items you can pick at the same place as the dwarven plate and dragonhide?

well Ellester they dont have to go in they are just thoughts if Liv wants them. and i didnt make her any stronger or smarter, i uped her dex and con a little but that was the only change i made. as to fruella well i didnt change any of her stats but i just thought that the game needed a cleric npc at the begining for a party to pick up. she was the only one that had the stats to be a cleric so thats why i picked her. i could make a whole knew npc but it would be upto someone else to work them into the game. i dont know how much work that would be for Liv.

Trel i did this cause on another thread there were a number of people that didnt like the look of it. im not fond of it either so i played around with its appearance. only ideas. i can always make these in just my game.

Kalshane i could make it look like any armor in the game or no armor at all i played around with them all, i even made it invisible once. its odd but when changing the color of an item you can change the icon used for it. even though i had it set as scale mail when i gave it the color from chain mail it became chain mail instead of scale.

    Okay,
so I did a bit more digging.

The Dwarven plate is apparently adamantine, and gives DR 3/-, so it could use a description.

I also realized that they did not add the "wild" property for crafting on magical armor. Summary- the armor continues to affect the druid when the druid wildshapes. Costs 3 bonus levels, requires CL 9th and "baleful polymorph" spell.

Very typical for a PnP druid build to take natural spell, heavy armor proficiency, and have a suit of +1 wild dragonhide plate crafted. 9 AC for the druid in every form.... Probably not going to manage to add this one in with the engine as it sits though.

Could we add someone in the church of St Cuthbert. Maybe even the under-cleric in the foyer?
