no, no.. it is not a problem of what files I must install to better run the game, I'm just taling of the several corrections that Liv did to her 1.5, like "more quick fixes", "juggernaut fix" and "black jay fix".
liv, please, tell me: are those updates already included in your mod if I completely download it now again?

Same thing happened to me but in Deklo Grove.

 

If you take a 5 foot step in a round, that's it, you don't get to move again. That is per the rules.

 

I am playing through the game right now, and have just entered the Moathouse. My party just hit level 2... so I will be taking a look at this, and I will set them back to a lower level if they are too high.

I understand that part and I'm fine with it. I was just pointing out that the 'Already moced' text scrolled above my character's head from the time he tried his second move until the end of the round, rather than showing up once and then going away as all the other text does.

 

It's just the game's way of taunting your for trying to move twice in a round! :0)

 

Fragarach and Scather.

If you want to make the game harder, just take the Prince Thommel scenario out of the game. It has to be the most abused thing in the game. People kill him or allow him to be killed, then loot and then use raise dead to restore him. Later on they get Scather and by the time they get to level 4 they are so powerful they can kill demi-gods. I don't think that's the way it was intended. Ingenius people will find ways around things. Between console cheats and skilled manipulation, It probably doesn't matter what you mod.

 

Gem Guardians

Haven't tried your mod yet, but I did read the list of fixes and changes you made. Do the gaurdians really need to be tougher? The balor was already badass enough as far as I was concerned. I never make saves against his spells, he's damn hard to hit even with high strength and a +3 weapon and weapon focus. And he cuts through my stoneskin spells like they were paper. Does he really need to be any tougher??

Also, is the lamia figurine mentioned at Imerydis Run an Allyx item or one of yours? I'm assuming so, but I may have missed something before.

well wizgeorge i already offered to down grade both swords, in fact i put them in my game with out all thier abilities and it makes the game run better or at least it seems like it

 

I will have these changes as part of my 2.0 version... I just need time... always more time... ahghghghghaghhg.... I want more life.

overpowered junk

There are tons of overpowered items and allies in the game. Like Scorp. I avoid most of them, except the fungus figurine. I just love it. Calling up a Basiderond can turn the tide in many a battle.

Also, crafting your own items is ridiculously easy, and much more profitable than most stuff you discover. You can slaughter a few NPC's in Nulb, sell their junk and upgrade your whole party. Takes the fun out of finding stuff like a +2 weapon.

The combat is bang-on, but overall the feeling is Nerf.

 

resurrection brutality...

L2 Spoonoir and L4 Fruella died in a Temple fight. Had them ressed by Terjon. They lost a ton of xp, Fruella down to 1500, Spoony down to... -1000! Is that right? According to his stats, he had 0, but if I wanted him to scribe a scroll, it showed up in the negative. Likewise, he progressed up from 0 right away, but is still in the negative when scribing.

I never had anyone die so young before *sniff*, so I don't know if this is original rules stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't know scripting, which I'm sure would be of more use to you, but if you need someone to write/ proofread dialogue, I have plenty of time where I work and would love to help.

 

ok Liv sounds good im playing around with a couple of other things that i havnt gotten down yet. an elven longbow and im trying to change the appearance of the elven chain( absolutly hideous).

 

You need some...

restoration to get that xp back.
