    Try this:

move the PC in question to the leftmost position ( the party leader).

    in the console type

    game.leader.obj_set_int( obj_f_critter_portrait, #### )

where #### is the number from portrait.mes of whatever portrait you want to change it to.

That may or may not work. If it doesn't I for one have no idea what else to do.

It's really simple: for portraits don't mind the saved game.

Use the "Glenn system", or simply do this:

Let's say you're using the portrait of the human with full plate, and the helmet with the red feather.

Go to main folder and look for data/art/interface/portraits.

Look for the file portraits.mes and open it with notepad. The helmed guy it's HUM_0520_b_paladin.tga to HUM_0524_m_paladin_grey.tga

Make or search a set of portraits desired, and use the same names for each corresponding.

Copy those five portraits inside the portraits folder (or PORTRAITS, doesn't matter) and that's all, they would replace the ones in game (even those of already created charcters from saved games). When you don't want it anymore, just delete them from the folder.
Now just do that with the portrait you're using.

Remember to check the "clean cache" option whenever you change something.

I do this a lot changing the portraits as the PCs grow in levels :)
Note that you can do the same for NPCs portraits, look in the portrait.mes file, and replace with the same method.

The "partyxpset(x)" command doesn't appear to work. It just generates a weird error. Something about:

    file "<string>", line1, in ?

    Indeed I did not.

EDIT: It worked, though I noticed I misread it. . . it gives everyone in the party X XP, instead of setting every party member's XP to X. Is there a command to do the latter? (I like evening out everyone's XP, in the event of deaths/crafting/etc.)

Yes, the existing function is misnamed; it really ought to be called "partyxpadd", not "partyxpset". Changing the code from add to set actually simplifies it. The current version is

A true "set" rather than add would be just

Note that partylevelset already does what you want (set rather than add), albeit with lower resolution.

i have a small problem and i can't seem to find a solution...

in the temple i'm trying to do almost all the quests (since it's not possible to do them all), but when i entered the water temple Belsornig just attacked me (i was wearing water robes at the time)... i've done the 1st earth quest and 1st air quest without any problems...

so, my question is, did i miss something i should've done before going to Belsornig and can i use the console to return him to normal so i can speak to him and get the quests?

    thanks in advance:)

Iuz's Greatsword 4503. If you like big weapons you might try even the bugbear bardiche(4094) or the Zweihander(4493)(cooooooool)

    Hehe. My sword was mentioned!

Well, my humble idea to add the Zweihander, the amazing Shining Ted put it in for me. :)

Thanks again ted, and I'm glad someone else thinks a big, dumb two hander, appealing to the anime aesthetic is neat.

Zalmoxes - Just so you're aware, the Zweihander has a built in -2 to hit. You may or may not have noticed that, but that was the work around for lack of monkey grip feat. All the stats approximate what a scaled up greatsword would be. For added role playing mileage, I suggest dropping a feat on something useless in exchange for "monkey grip".

Noticed that  Actually the Zweihander is quite far to be one of the most "performant" weapons in the game. It's just pretty cool! WHEN I use it, I use it with a fighter Str 18 + belt, Con 18, Int 8-10, Dex absolutely not essential. Not much thinking, not very agile, just ready for a "brush" Fighter. Sort of first shot then ask character. Not the cleverest role playing, but fun :chairshot

By the way of "performant " weapons. In my humble opinion the most performant weapon (excluding Frag and Scath which shouldn't count) is by far the Hatori Hanzo Steel. Just out of curiosity, what type of weapon is that? Is it possible to craft something similar, so not using the console? I mean, even with keen edge you don't reach that critical!!!! And, again out of curiosity, is it compliant to the rules?

Compliant? I think not... weapon type? Its a katana, surely? Craftable? Only if you name your PC 'Hatori Hanzo'.
