There's a game.party_alignment. However, trying to assign to it yields an error, so I suspect the answer is no.

If it's not listed here, then it's anyone's guess. Variations on game.party_alignment = ... would be the direction to try, I imagine.

How can I LEVEL-DOWN my character? It's easy enough to cheat a level-up, but neither the stat_experience nor stat_level (haven't actually tested on leveling-up) work.

Is there anyway to add things like regeration, damage reduction, or other monster characteristics to PC's via the console?

    Hi
I have something weird going on. I created a cleric to test the possibility of a NG cleric crafting an Axiomatic Weapon, and consoled him up to 7th Level ( with a few extra eeps for crafting ) and gave him a bunch of PP. I then tried the console "Give" command so he would have a Masterwork ( or magic ) weapon to craft. No matter what number I tried, or how I typed the command, the item that appeared in his inventory was always the same: a single "Arrow Do Not Use".
    Any ideas ??

    That's bizarre.
Are you sure you're inputting valid protos.tab entries?

    E.g. if you type
    Code:
    give 4132

It shoud give you a MW longsword (and I just tested it to make sure).

    Hi,
I've seen numerous references to a file called description.mes in the toee root\data\mes folder, but when I go to said folder it doesn't appear to be there... I just want item codes, so any ideas?

    Thanks!

Are you looking in your Atari folder> Temple of Elemental Evil> data> mes? In the mes folder, there should be a mes file (not folder) called description. My computer opens it with Notepad.

If not, you may be able to find the file posted somewhere if you search through this site. Have fun with that, it can take a while.

Yup, like I said, that's what I'm doing, but it's not there... odd, since it seems like it's a game file, so I'm not entirely sure how the game is running without it lol

Anyway, I *finally* found it online at http://troika.wikia.com/wiki/Description.mes, just in case anyone else needs it.

Now I have the problem of not being able to spawn npcs or monsters, when I try it just creates a random locked door, weird!

Thanks for the reply anyway :)

Glad you found it. I actually just googled it, and the first site gave it to me. Took a few seconds : ) Wish I'd done it sooner. http://troika.wikia.com/wiki/Description.mes

When you open your mes folder, what is in it?

Really? Took me a while to find that one lol

In my mes folder I have:
    bonus.mes
    combat.mes
    feat.mes
    help.tab
    item_creation.mes
    spell.mes

I have official patches 1 and 2 and Moebius's unofficial patch from Sorcerer's Place.

    neural_jam,

You should have over 30 different .mes files, are you looking in the program files directory of TOEE?

No, I installed it to a different drive, but it is the main directory that I installed to (just to make double sure, I checked and there's no TOEE or Atari folder in Program Files).
