I don't know, my regular playthrough of 5.5.0 had about as many CTD problems as the vanilla TOEE. Just random crashes on changing locations. Temple level 4 seems to be particularly bad. Maybe just my bad luck.
I beat the Baylor and it wasn't that hard, once I had some concept of what to do...but it crashed right after. Damn. Damn. Damn. (Sorry guys) Does it always crash? I'm going to rescue my dinner.
It's most fun when he summons another Balor ^____^ And, unless I'm wrong, it's more XP. It doesn't ALWAYS crash, sometimes it does. Since 5.5.0 seems to be pretty crashy, I'd assume there's a bigger chance that it does than that it doesn't.
Yes, we secretly plotted to make 5.5 more crashy. This was done by not modding the areas where you see increased crashing, like temple level 4.
Hee hee. (I never like it when someone uses hee hee...but this time, it fits.) Would you like tomatoes with the wry? Or, no?
Ahh so that's what it was Then again, it's nice because it adds that extra little challenge to completing the game I've always wanted :hahano:
"When a laddie meets a lassie coming thru the wry..." Aye, and a bonny lass she was. Her tomatoes were right fine, they were... (Ignore me, it's the single malt croakin')
Now, you know...I was trying to be as innocuous as could be with the 'tomatoes'...I was afraid if I said 'cheese' you boys would really cut loose with the wisecracks.
Congrats on the first successful Balor beating =)) Now check if the game CTDs when you exit the area :X j/k After this, Zuggy will seem easy =) Well, unless you give up one of the followers to her, and get lucky for her to summon a Balor :biggergri After you're done, I only suggest you to do another playthrough, with all the other classes you didn't use, an opposite alignment and using all the different NPCs, just to explore the opposite possibilities. Nothing feels like slaughtering Hommlet, believe me
I am somewhat calmer. The game did not CTD when I left the area. Joking or no, it didn't. Give up a follower? What is that? @Erkper: Thanks! I deserved that! Not to sound like I am giving a graduation speech, but you all know I could not have done it w/o all the input. I appreciate it. Now...on to the Fungi lady. Advice is always appreciated....always.
