Level 4 questions

Somebody toughened her up. My 1st runthrough, pre-Livonya, I killed Z with a party of 9th level adventurers and Elmo (no Meleny, I hated her getting encumbered so *!#% fast).

Either the "dice" went my way that time, or she was too easy; I never again managed to kill her the first try.

Sadly, I think what happened is that she tripped my monk who had the orb and who she was supposed to talk to.

Or maybe not. I've had a similar bug with the druid pretending to be a giant.

Next playthrough I need to try to get Dardley a bit earlier - she could make a nice fighter in her demon form, and Herdrack's warhammer looks good on her... =)


BTW, anyone have any idea how to wear that thing one-handed? Nobody in my party could do that.

 

Finally, I beat Zuggtmoy.

What a long fight!

I didn't have the Gust of Wind scroll, and the only player who could scribe one was raised from the dead and didn't have enough exp points, so I guess I did it the hard way.

Yay! (I am so tired from the fight, that the yay is a feeble one, heh)

 

Has anyone else experienced a ctd when the two Gods are talking to each other?

For some strange reason I keep crashing when Cuthbert starts to tell Zuggy where to stick it.

 

I've had that once.

You can try. Just don't try weird stuff with your party, go with what you know works. You know, a fighter or two, a mage, a cleric and a rogue =)

From what I've seen, it doesn't go as high level as TOEE, so mages don't get the "I pwn" button in their radial menu =)))

Honestly, to me, the Balor fight is a bigger deal. So, I was a bit lax on this. I'm sorry :cry:

I like sorcerers, rogues, and bards. (It's the bad girl in me.)

Really, though...except for the bard, I do choose a 'standard' party. I don't know why I like bards so much, but I do. They are normally my 'face' person, and the one I relate the most to.
