Leaving characters at the inn of the wench

    Hm... I can't be entirely sure this is connected, but since it's the same character it's worth a shot. Pally now appears frozen into place. No way to move him, either in combat mode or outside of it. The oddest thing is that even loading an earlier save, the bug persists, when clearly between that and the current one he must have moved. Only loading a save from before fighting the water temple solves the problem. Anyway, I hope all these reports are useful to you somehow.

    Weird... but it seems to go away when changing maps. Does it not?

    At least it's easy to work around...
    The technical cause is that the pally has an unfinished move animation which somehow got stuck and won't let new ones in. I have no idea how that can happen though... can you describe how it started?
    Also can you send the intermediate saves between that one and the water Temple fight?
    And yes, these reports are very useful, I appreciate them very much!

    That's good to know. Thanks for the professional support - oh wait, imagine a professional game having this level of support. Dream on! :p

    I can't rightly say, but as you can see in the first save everything is fine while in the second he now appears already frozen.

    Yeah the 2nd save is much the same as the one you already sent, so unfortunately no new information there. I did notice that the slain bugbears in the room next door appear to have a similar issue, might be related... did the pally kill those?

    Just jumping on here but I'm having similar / a bit weirder issues with my familiar. Summoned a cat with my wizard and it shows as FULL NPC, stats and all, can carry inventory etc... I can even level him up (currently a lvl 10 Fighter haha). It wont let me equip weapons or anything but I was able to spec unarmed strike focus and specialization to boost +attack.

    But that's just the start! I needed NPC space so I tried to call him back using talk function, it all plays out and the dialogue says it worked but it doesn't he is still there with me. Click around some more and it summons a SECOND cat, this one isn't controllable put it shows in the formation menu. I have temple+ set to an 8 party limit 5PC 3 NPC and at one point I hit 9 total with my two familiars and was surprised it didnt explode.

    But I'm doing a quest now that wants me to take on 3 additional npcs short term and I need room. So I continue to research but it seems likely ill have to the terrible thing and kill the poor guy. There is no dismiss option it only shows familiars I can summon which makes me think it would allow me to summon a second one again.

    Is this the first cat summoning the second cat? Because familiars should have pets too.

    that would be great haha, but its coming from my wizard still. And I actually can't get a second one to show up anymore, any "call familiar" or "dismiss" I do triggers nothing anymore. At this point I'm just wondering if brutal murder is my only option tried leaving him at the wench to no avail (Which is as designed so no surprise)

    Just did the deed... and things worked out surprisingly well I roleplayed the shit out of this!

    Was transporting a criminal via NPC and made him kill my familiar :(, but that way it wasn't one of my core guys. Which freed up the character slot and restored proper working call and dismiss familiar stuff. BUT then I thought wait a minute and cast "raise dead" on him and he popped right back up! When I talk to him it still tries to run the go back into my pack stuff but nothing happens. So now my old lvl 10 familiar forever roams around NULB keeping an eye on my house and collecting intel.

    Small suggestion: It would be great if the same feature could be added to the Inn or Castle in Verbobonc for Co8 NC, considering there are a couple of quests for which you need space in the party there.

    Was this a Co8 thing or just Temple+?

    EDIT: Never mind, it says so on the first page.
