Thanks for the zip. As mentioned above, I think that business with the magic plate was due to the Watchman going to the wrong line of dlg.

As the "Greater Magic Fang" spell for Rangers was in the wrong spelllevel, so is the spell "Modify Memory" for Bards:

Ingame Spelllevel 1 to PHB Bard 4

Is that perhaps intended and the spell´s name should be "Hypnotism" (= 1st level Bard spell influencing people to like you better for your next action)?

Using "Craft Wondrous Items" I noticed:

The description is 1 or more lines larger than the textbox for Boots of the Winderlands, Circlet of Persuasion, Circlet of Blasting (major), Dwarven Forge Gauntlets, Eyes of Charming, Eyes of the Eagle, Hands of ... (all of them), Necklace of Detection, Prayer Beads of Healing, Robe of Eyes, Scarab of Protection, Vest of Escape.

The Chime of Opening has a value of 0 instead of 3000 as per DMG

The Horn of Goodness has the prerequisite: "Prereq: @-2 Alignment: Good" while the Horn of Evil simply has "Prereq: Alignment: Evil". The "Robe of the Archmagi, white" has the same strange alignment instead of simply Alignment: Good.

The picture for the Cloak of Resistance +X, BLUE looks like the quill of the Mad Wizard
    [IMG]
Cloak of Resistance +X, orange shows the picure of rusty chainmail,
Cloak of Resist. +X, violet the picture of fur armour
The Mantle of Spell Resist, BLUE uses the picture of the quill like the blue Cloak of Resistance.

In the northern woods the party was attacked by skeletal hobgoblins who charged (they got the +2 charge bonus on their attack roll) but did cause real damage using Lizardmen Greatclubs...

Could it be that only the zombies and animal (e.g. Giant Lizard) chargeattacks cause non-lethal damage because the game sees their attacks as "unarmed attacks"?

You could claim that it´s supposed to be a peaceful area only after the Lizardmen have moved back in and are on friendly terms with you ;)

Nobby is still "full". I had the suspicion that would be because I always use the "Marketplace" shortcut when returning to the keep, but I just tried to use the "Main Gate" shortcut to the keep and Nobby still does not refresh his wares.
Did I interrupt his routine when I got Ricardo into prison and him accused and then returned to the marketplace?

After reporting to the Bailiff that I found out what happened to the first group of adventurers he offered some support that I should get from the Corporal. When there and having received the help I started exploring the Gatetower and the pockets of the guards.

NOT A BUG. Why are you telling me this?

When pickpocketing the Corporal I got a message that I received a key that would be placed in the logbook AND NOT APPEAR IN THE INVENTORY:

Well, it appeared in the logbook. AND in the inventory

There are RP reasons for this it is NOT A BUG.

The Corporal attached Archers as aid against the Wizard to my party.
When travelling to wrong places (e.g. Thorpe, Dragon) they will desert the party,as intended by their text when they leave - however when the watchman on the marketplace notices that my Bard wears the blue gateguard armour then those loyal archers will go to the gaol with the party, which is probably not intended as they are real soldiers:

If I understood it right then there should be only 1 merchant paying full price for one kind of things, e.g. the cobbler --> leather, the provisioners assistant --> cloth armour and clothes

At least one merchant to buy =/= ONLY one merchant to buy. NOT A BUG.

However the provisioners assistant pays full for "Leather gloves" while for "Brown Leather Gloves" or "Blue Leather Gloves" only half:
Are the black leather gloves the standard gloves? Because the others are named for their colour ("Blue Leather Gloves") while the black gloves not only lack the colour in their name, but are written with a small "g"loves instead of "G"loves.

And the "Green Cloak" which I assume to fall under "clothes" will be purchased only for half price by the provisioners assistant but at full price by the cobbler.

While the Corporals key exists both in the logbook and the inventory, the Mad Wizards key appears only in the logbook and not in the inventory (just as the description when receiving the key states).

The handaxe taken from the chest in the Corporals tower seems to be correctly labelled stolen, but the blue gloves, blue boots and blue guardsman studded leather can be sold to merchants.

Is it normal that the radial menu has more than 1 "Break Free" options when a Web and an Entangle spell are present?
Is it intended that Igor crosses half the room ignoring the party to attack Butterfly?

I tested this in ToEE and it's the same. Common sense, I know, but that seems to be sorely lacking.

Despite your long experience playing the game, you don't seem to be able to exercise any sort of common-sense capacity to distinguish between things that engine does completely outside our control - like flash up "you picked up a key!" popups that you will have seen every time you played ToEE, or give multiple menu options for multiple spells - and actual bugs that we can fix and need feedback on.

Furthermore you seem to use this bug list as your personal "let's play KotB" blog. "Hey, I found a key that unlike all the others, doesn't disappear! Shall I keep playing and find out why? No, let's put it on the buglist! Hey, I found another key that acts like all the others. Let's put it on the bug list! Hey, I've realised that the poor implementation of Pickpocket means it can be used to break quests - I'm now going to break as many quests as I can and put them on the bug list! Hey I'm now going to cast a bunch of spells on top of one another and see what happens - follow my exploits on the bug thread!"

You metagame, and call it bugs. You encounter things that are different to ToEE, and call it bugs. You encounter things explained in the manual, and call it bugs. You encounter anything out of the ordinary, and rather than keep playing to see why it may be, you post it here with ridiculous emojis and inane questions  :tetter:

You seem to have no capacity to exercise any sort of restraint, or judgment, or proportionality, or simple bloody common sense to distinguish between necessary feedback and SPAMMING THE BUG THREAD.

As a long-time member of this forum and supporter of Co8 you have the right to do all this. But I have the right to live a life free of this sort of garbage, so I am taking the action that is within my rights, and closing this thread. I am confident from the sheer inanity of what you are posting, that there are no serious bugs that I need to hear about before the next release. If there are, other Co8 patrons are quite entitled to start new threads and give me feedback.

But I do not want to hear from you, ConjurerDragon. What you don't seem to appreciate - again, a common sense thing - is that I am doing the bug fixing etc on my own, and every irrelevant bug you post - "the Chime of Freedom that never appears in the game is incorrectly priced!" - is just one more thing I have to worry about before I can do the next release, which I am already struggling with. At this point I want bugs that effect most people's games, not bugs that only affect the metagaming stylings of the extreme minority.

You may therefore consider yourself persona non grata here in the kotB forum. I don't want to hear from you. Because in the end, it will be either you or me. I will quit before I continue to put up with this shit.
