This is a list of all non-magical armours and a couple of shields that I could find in my books. I thought it might be useful for rules issues. the reason I didn't include magical armours is that they would be more difficult to get working in ToEE.
    Code:
    Table: Armour and Shields

    Tessen 12 gp 1	— -1 5% —	—	1 lb.

    1. Weight figures are for armour sized to fit Medium characters.
Armour fitted for Small characters weighs half as much, and armour fitted for Large characters weighs twice as much.
    2. When running in heavy armour, you move only triple your speed, not quadruple

Chahar-Aina: This "four mirror armour" can be worn over certain other types of armour to provide an additional armour bonus that stacks with both the foundation armour and any shield worn. A character can wear a chahar-aina effectively over padded, leather, or chain shirt armour. A character needs Armour Proficiency (medium) to wear a chahar-aina without penalty.

Dastana: these large metal bracers can be worn in addition to some other types of armour to provide an additional armour bonus that stacks with both the foundation armour and any shield worn. A character can wear a chahar-aina effectively over padded, leather, or chain shirt armour. A character needs Armour Proficiency (light) to wear a chahar-aina without penalty.

Tessen: A tessen acts much like a buckler, though you cannot wield a weapon in the same hand as the tessen. However you can use the tessen as an off-hand weapon, dealing 1d3 points of damage (x2 crit). Used this way, the tessen is a martial bludgeoning weapon. For purposes of attack penalties, treat a tessen as a light weapon. If you use a tessen as a weapon, you lose its AC bonus until your next action (usually until the next round). A chracter need Shield Proficiency to use a tessen without penalty.

if you know of more non-magical armour types than these feel free to PM me with the stats.

Just out of curiosity; which books did you get yours from? and also, for additional contributions, are you only wanting 'vanilla' items that can be used in any setting, or would you like ones from specific settings like forgotten realms, eberron, dragonlance etc :)

I got those from the players hand book, oriental adventures and the arms and equipment guide. As for additional contributions, keep them in the specific settings like forgotten realms, eberron, dragonlance etc. Anything that isn't made for a "medieval fantasy" setting doesn't really fit ToEE.

interestingly enough WotC distinguishes between a war fan and a tessen (the same weapon with differnt names). altho on that note (counting one weapon as two) its helpfull if we want something that works with improved sheild bash and animates nicely

hmmm... after looking through most of the other stuff i have from forgotten realms at least, most of the other types of armour have specific rules etc attached to them (almost every single one), so they might not be the best contributions :p

Still, if you want the basic stats for anything i can send them to you cujo :)

Cujo you may want to add the armour list from the Underdark book to your table
    Code:
    Table: Armour and Shields

Armour Cost	Armour/Shield	Maximum Armour Check	Arcane Spell	Speed Weight1
Bonus Dex Bonus	Penalty Failure Chance	(30 ft.)(20 ft.)

    Light armour

    Nightscale	1000 gp 2	10 0 5% 30 ft.	20 ft.	3 lb.
    Chitine Web	75 gp 3	6 -1 10% 30 ft	20 ft.	10 lb.
    Spidersilk	750 gp 3	8 -1 10% 30 ft.	20 ft.	5 lb.

    Medium armour

    Tentacled Hide	315 gp 3	5 -3 20% 20 ft.	15 ft	30 lb.

    Heavy armour

    Stonemail	180 gp 5	2 -5 30% 20 ft.2	15 ft.2	35 lb.
    Feeler Plate 2500 gp 8	1 -6 35% 20 ft.2	15 ft.2	65 lb.
    Heavy Plate 2000 gp 9	0 -8 40% 20 ft.	15 ft.	100 lb.

There aren't any new armours in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

I think we've got all that we're going to get as far as armor in the game, without adding specific suits of magical armor.

So far we've got the red ones:

Which is quite a nice selection I think. Are we able to model armour like weapons?
If yes then someone could make shell, coral and dendritic armour. Hmm dendritic
    might be a challenge.

    Edit: @Cuch: I didn't know it's there. ;)

@maggit: You forgot the Tessen. :p The majority of new armor is out of reach untill we gain the ability to import/exprt models with more than one bone. Even the stuff with one bone is proving problimatic for me ATM, but I'm still hopeful.

I don't honestly see the point in adding a bunch of different armor types that are essentially the same as armors that are already in the game. Most of the other stuff that we don't have yet is only unique in D&D because of the special bonuses they have... which are pretty much impossible to transfer to the game or useless because their specific abilities aren't applicable in game. I.E., some have better hardness and hitpoints (for sundering, which ToEE doesn't use), some armors make sleeping more comfortable for the wearer (sleeping heals the same amount no matter how encumbering the armor is), and other similar effects.

So, really, do we need to add a bunch of 'new' armors that are just replications of other armors already in the game, just with a different graphic?

EDIT: I guess it's all moot, because most of the armors on the list that haven't been added yet do have slightly different stats than all the armors we already have. I suppose it might be worth adding them, just because some of the types are indeed slightly better.

Don't forget that we already have some balance issues we're trying to sort out. Adding in a bunch of stuff that wasn't designed for this setting could further unbalance things. Advanced items with special properties should not become available until later in the game.

small note here maggit. you forgot to highlight banded armor in red on your list as we already have that one. as to adding new armor its fine with me but i think we should get the stuff we already added touched up a bit. i havnt check all the new ones lately but last time i looked the dragon scale armor looked like the regular hide armor and that just wont due lol.

the dragon scale plate I made is based on hedracks armour so its green and spikey :p

oh and I think adding new armours is a good thing - so long as they look new, it freshens up the game abit. who hasn't got sick of looking at the same old leather armour and wanted to have a bit of a change.

    @allyx; I update the list

what about re-skinning the breastplate to look like a giant turtle's shell? That should be easy for the more artistic members of the group surely?

I don't know if I'm the skilled one but I could do it
if you liked my new armour. ;)

K.... I've done it... Here it is. Hope you'll like it.
The proto number is 6425 and 6426 for the masterwork.

Not the best of my work but....

    Materials & Addmesh entry: 26200-26299
    Meshes.mes entry: 12002
    Inventory Icon: 510

I'm not putting it into the CMF until someone says
    it's good enough. :p
