Is there a way to remove or limit the Level Adjustment?

I extract the files I want to edit from the tpgamefiles.dat file that comes with the latest version of Templeplus and edit/create new files using Notepad++ (in spite of the problems with indentation errors that sometimes occur when adding new lines).

 

That makes sense. Now when you say extract do you mean copy them and put them in the overrides folder?

I'm so pumped to have figured that out.

 

You have to "crack open" the .dat file to extract all the files you want to mod.
Install Phalzyr's Proto Editor from basic modding tutorial for toee | Circle of Eight Modding Community - The Temple of Elemental Evil (co8.org)

Copy ToEExtract application (from Proto Editor) and tpgamefiles.dat into new directory somewhere other than your ToEE directory
Drag and drop the tpgames.dat file onto the ToEExtract application (in File Explorer)
You may well have to set your anti-virus to allow the ToEExtract application to run
