I hope you had a good day and the night goes well.

I get up even earlier tomorrow to go to training. I think there is a conspiracy afloat to turn me into a day person. I do not like it.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Don't resist your biorhythms.
Sleep when your body says to...
and don't listen to your brain. It
    has no clue. None. (Remember
    the untrainable brain?)

Wake up feeling in tune with yourself.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.
    (C'mon Lady. Please?)

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and the night goes well.

Got up obscenely early to go to training today and had the power go off and the water pressure drop drastically while I was washing my hair. Lovely morning.

The trainer was very good. Kept me awake. Alternated humor with graphic videos of violence. So up and down all day. Hardly even knew I was tired until I left.

I saw the male Cardinal still courting the female. I think they are nesting somewhere close in the area. Or are going to. Since there are hardly any Mockingbirds this year, I guess the Cardinals didn't get chased off.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

When the brain and the body
    are exhausted, sleep comes easily.
    Sleep soundly and restore yourself.

Wake up in the morning, and guard
    what energy you have.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

    Uh-huh. Freudian Slip? :poke:

Momma Goose is now the proud single mom of 5 goslings Got to see a few of them today and passed on the happy news to all the others in the office who've been watching out for her.

I'll say this about my community service, of which I'm just over halfway done , it's quite the work out! If I'm not careful I might actually get into some sort of good shape! I've been moving A LOT of furniture lately. And not small stuff either. Staring to feel it.... in a good way.

    I think.

Tomorrow N and I go off on a Father-Son Mother's Day shopping trip. Should be fun. Always interesting shopping for a wife and an ex-wide, both of which are mothers to your sun. ;)

I hope you had a good day and the night goes well.

Mother's Day tomorrow. I hope some of you out there share what you did for your mothers. And that includes your spouses, if they are mothers.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep. Breathe.
    Wake up. Breathe some more.
Be glad you are alive and breathing.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

A nice Eggs Benedict breakfast for my J coupled with a gift certificate to our local day spa. Now she can get the massage/manicure/etc she was dropping hints for.

N got the other J a few spring scented candles she was looking for.

Nice cards for both of them too!

    And the rest of you?

I hope you had a good day and the night goes well.

Mother's Day, I had a nice lunch and went to check out the rock shop. Rarely get up that way, even if it is only 15 mins away. The woman who owns it is extremely knowledgeable about crystals and rocks. Small shop, a cottage converted to a business, 4 very small rooms, all crammed full of things.

It's where I bought my wind chimes.

She had some singing bowls. I had to leave the room when they 'sung,' as it hurt my ears, badly. Didn't seem to bother anyone else.

It was a nice day, actually.

To all who will (or are, tsk tsk) sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Gather up your well wishes and
send your thoughts out as you
    are falling asleep. They will
    come back 3-fold.

Wake up in the morning and
    enjoy the sunshine.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night!

I must not have followed my own advice when I went to sleep last night.

I have rarely been as coldly angry as I have been today.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Let go of negative feelings
    before falling asleep.

    Wake up in the morning
    with resolve.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and the night went well.

A lot of thinking today. We'll see where it leads me.

    I don't know why I can't make decisions easily. I guess,
like a lot of people, I don't have much practice at it. I
seem to make any decision that is meaningful very complicated.
When it concerns me, that is.

Ah well. We live. We struggle. We learn.

I should be thankful there is still enough air in my lungs to struggle,
still enough cells in my brain to learn and still life in my body.

Take the light with you when you
travel into the dark; do that even
in your dreams as you are carried
    off into sleep.

Wake up and see a little clearer.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

    Nice day today.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

A child's body grows while asleep.
Perhaps the brain's ability to function
does too. Another good reason to
    sleep soundly and dream.

Wake up tomorrow and see if you can
    reason better.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and the night goes well.

Went to the movies today and saw Iron Man 2.
Now I wish I had seen the first one. It was good.
I liked it. There will undoubtedly be another one
or one of a similar nature. My insider tells me that
the next character (or movie) will be about Thor,
with Captain America soon followed. (Hint: stay
to the end of the credits. If you saw the first
    one, you already know this.)

Nice day today, warm, but not too hot and a breeze.

The dark of the moon comes soon...like now, in fact.
It moves into Taurus, which is considered good for
clarity. (And isn't that what I always ask for?)

And that's it for me today.

Not quite. I'm going to a women's retreat this
weekend, with no access to a computer. So I
am not sure yet how I can do The Nightly Mission,
if at all, until Sunday night. So if I miss a couple
of nights, I hope no one minds.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Bathe in the dark moon's
    energy tonight and see
    what your dreams bring
    you.

    Wake up in the morning
    with more insight, perhaps.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and the night went well.

I had a good time at the retreat, but didn't get much sleep.
Even with 2 layers of foam under me, the floor was hard.

One night, we danced around a fire, some drumming, a couple
with flutes. Everyone just sort of got into a hypnotic state
and got a little wild. Even tired, that brought up a lot of energy.

We did some talking circles, some visualization, a rieke exercise.
And ate. Women eat. And talk. And eat while talking.

Because it was the new moon, we focused the entire weekend
on what we wanted to increase.

It was good. No internet, no cell phones, just us. On wooded
    property.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

The smell of smoke on your skin and
in your hair is soothing and comforting,
perhaps bringing dreams of older times,
    older wisdom.

Wake up and shower it all off and get
back into your life...but perhaps changed
    a little.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

Long day today. Very busy at work.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Positive thoughts as you
    fall into sleep may carry
    over into the next morning
    when you wake up.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.
