I hope you had a good day and a good night. The moon is almost full. To all who sleep (or will) tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Out of the dark Into the light May you stay clear Happy and bright And stay that way All through the night May you wake up Feeling alright May the Lady smile on you and on me, too. G'Night.
A question, O Queen. Your freezing issues regarding your pipes. Does it truly get that cold there where frozen pipes are an issue or is it due to the lack of proper insulation, seeing as you liver in a warmer clime? I ask because my Texas Insurance instructor mentioned the a similar thing. He told us that in Texas, when it does get cold, the lack of insulation in the homes there does cause frozen pipes for those that run through exterior walls. Frozen (or worse, burst) pipes are not fun. I went through that our first Winter here. Quite the lovely fountain all over the garage. Could've been worse I guess...
I hope you had a good day and a good night. The moon is as full as it needs to be, tonight. To all who sleep (or will) tonight on this side of the bright world, The Nightly Mission: Sleep safe and warm, wrapped in your dreams, sweet as they can be. Wake up tomorrow morning and walk tall in the light. May the Lady smile on you, and on me, too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. The moon is still full. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep dreamlessly and give yourself a break. Another day yet to face when you awake. May the Lady smile on you and on me, too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. Early tonight, for a change. There is nothing that interests me that I can do tonight, so it is back to the books. My first experience with escapism, books. They have always worked for me in the past... I sat outside here at work for a long time, under the oldest oak, in the dark, listening to the owl that was hidden in the center of the canopy. From the sound, I believe it is a great horned owl. A deep call that seeminly came from the owl's gut. Not whoooo (are you) but more like hoooomph. I could relate. Later, the call changed and sounded more like yearning, rising and quavering at the end. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Catch what dreams you may that bring you joy and leave the rest. Take what makes you feel the best. Let them pull you into sleep. Wake up tomorrow to another day. Try to find the light. May the Lady smile on you, and on me, too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. It's raining. And cold. And dark. The cloud cover has hidden the moon, which is waning, but still full of power. To all who sleep tonight, on this side of the earth: The Nightly Mission: Truth is a hard mistress but deception is darker still. Ask for clarity and you will get truth, but you will be in the light. Stay in the light. G'Night.
I must have read that one...read most of them, I think. Doesn't everyone? I have a whole stack of books to read. Don't tell me I have to add that one to the pile, too. (groans)
I hope you had a good day and that the night went well. The moon is waning and I, for one, am glad. I hate full moons. My hands smell of sage oil and patchouli. They smell good. I may put the oil on them everyday. To all who will sleep tonight, on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Try asking the Lady for acceptance rather than clarity. It just might work better. Certainly, you will sleep better. And try going to bed with the scent of sage near your face. Or maybe Dragon's Blood. Either will anchor you to the light. Wake up and be grateful for a new day. May the Lady smile on you, and me too. G'Night!
It's the one where the computer that runs the moon gains self-awareness. Heinlein isn't as well-known as he used to be.
I hope you had a good day and a good night, too. Cold today, but not as cold tonight. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Toasty warm in the covers, turn your thoughts to warmth, too. Drift along on a warm current until sleep steals you away. Wake up tomorrow with a warm heart. May the Lady smile on you and me too. G'Night!
