I hope you had a good day and that the night went well.

It was actually too cold for shorts today. Of course, I
didn't find that out until I was outside and running too
    late to change.

No hurricanes this season to speak of. It's not over
yet, but doesn't look like much will be happening if
it is cooling off this early.

And...get out the trumpets...it is the dark moon tonight.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the dark earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Time for feather comforters or quilts.
Snuggle under one and float away
    on the warmth into sleep.

Wake up tomorrow, inhale the cool air
and shiver your way into the day.

    Blessings,

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and that the night has gone well.

It is cold outside. I wore my sweats.

But it felt good. I like cold weather.

Still the dark of the moon. My knowledgeable friend
tells me that the full moon and the dark moon both
are in the center of a 48 hour time span, and that's
probably why my calendars say 2 different things.

If I see it, then as far as I am concerned, it's happening.
But it's nice to know why the calendars disagree.

I hope the Lady smiles on you tonight. I am once
again praying for the same for me.

Never a dull moment in my life for long. Or as the
Chinese are reputed to say, an interesting life.

To all who will sleep on this side of the dark earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Hunker down and be warm, safely under the
covers and ask for grace to find you in your
dreams. Or at least a smile.

Wake up tomorrow with no doubt about who
you are and what has value for you.

    Blessings,

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and a nice night.

Cold again today in Florida. I am happy and hope
it stays that way for awhile. Like months of cold.

The birds are not much in evidence, and all the
reptiles/amphibians are buried under leaves, I
guess, because they are gone, too.

The leaves have not yet begun to change
color, and it hasn't been cold enough to frost
and stop the grass from growing. But it feels
like an honest fall, strange for Florida. It is
more like what I'd expect in areas further north.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleeping must be related on some
    level to hibernation. People get
sleepier when it is cold. And I
    would think sleep longer.

So turn down the heater and
    sleep soundly. Dream (even
    hibernating bears dream, I think)
    and enjoy the journey.

    Wake up tomorrow and dress
    fast.

    Blessings,

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and thoroughly enjoy your night.

Haley's Comet is supposed to barrage us all with a meteor
display tonight. Here in Florida, it will happen around 1 am.
I wonder what type of energy that event will disrupt or
increase, as the case may be. I was told that it isn't the
comet itself that will visit us, but an old debrie field, very
    old apparently.

I drove to work this afternoon, and the road I travel was
not only busy, but half the drivers must have been tuned
in to the idiot channel. I do believe I swore more than I
    do normally.

It has warmed up today, warm enough to go back to shorts,
but of course, I had on long pants and a sweat shirt. I
definitely need to get outside more often.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep well and dream sweet.
If your dreams are wild and crazy,
    blame it on the comet.

    Wake up tomorrow smiling.

    Blessings,

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and night.

I did not get to watch a meteor display...
the sky was clouded over and whatever
may have occurred wasn't visible. I hope
some of you got to see it. My friend who
lives across the state said it was too
cloudy there, too. So much for Florida
    night skies.

I heard a hawk cry this afternoon, and
saw it briefly just before it landed in
one of the huge old oaks at work. It
was carrying something that was much
larger than a squirrel, so it must have
been a rabbit. I assume it was feeding
    it's young.

There are 4 old oaks at work, one on
each side of the building. The one in
front is the largest and is very large
indeed. Old. Four people could not
get their arms around the trunk and
touch all the way around. It is quite
    beautiful and appears healthy, in
spite of all the Spanish moss hanging
    from its branches.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep and dream of the sweetest
thing that ever came into your
    dreams.

Smile when you wake up this morning.

    Blessings,

    G'Night!

I hope the stars shine on you.
I hope love stays with you.
I hope the road you walk is a long one.
I hope you walk it with grace.
I hope the Lady smiles on you.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep down to the bone in forgetfulness
and do not ask for dreams this night.

Wake up tomorrow and breathe, walk,
    eat, talk.

    This too shall pass.

    G'Night.

    It's cold out.

For some odd reason, I am craving cashews.

    And chocolate.

I hope your day went well and the night follows suit.

    Cold again today. And tonight.

Ahhh, but I wish some times I was a bird riding
the warm wind, like my sig or whatever that is
    called at the bottom.

But then, I'd have to watch for hawks and avoid
airplanes and the like, so I suppose even fancy
flights of birds, not to speak of minds, have their
    associated dangers.

Writing seems so much safer, but even writing
(or at least mine) tends to seek out fantasy and
therein lies it's danger. No solace in fantasy,
    not for long.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Follow your heart into your dreams
and let sleep bring them to you.

Wake up in the morning with a clear
    eye...perhaps the heart will follow.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and night.

    Warmer today.

    Cool tonight.

A friend of mine, the one who knows everything
there is to know about astrology, apparently, says
that on the 29th, Saturn moves into Libra and anything
about relationships will be reconsidered and
reevaluated. She says any type of relationship.

So some interesting times lie ahead.

Did I already say this before?

I don't really care if I did. It is worth repeating.

And the moon is halfway to full. More interesting times.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Tell yourself to think on the days events, if they
were perplexing, when you start to drift into sleep,
and let your brain work on them.

    Sleep soundly.

Wake up in the morning and perhaps things will
    not be so confusing.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and that the night is, too.

At work this evening, and it was busy.

We had a late thunderstorm. On my way to check on the gate,
which wasn't operating properly, I saw a very wet and bedraggled
raccoon, looking more like a large rat than a raccoon. I understand
that there is a family of them close by and they appear to live
mainly off the contents of our dumpster.

No alligators, though. Wrong time of year for them to be wandering
    very far.

All kinds of traffic up and down our road, so I expect we will ask
    for increased patrols for awhile.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep well and wake up tomorrow rested.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well.

The moon is getting close to full and so is All Hallows' Eve.

Be interesting to hear what forum members are going to do
for Halloween. Any of you out there go all out and decorate
your yards and porches and houses? Do you dress up? If
    so, what as?

I imagine those with children have things they do, also. What
    are those?

I would like to hear about all that, if anyone is willing to post
    about it.

Last night the sky was so overcast that even the nearby city
lights couldn't be seen. And tonight the same way. I do
hope it clears by the time the moon is full.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep deep and dream the same way.
Maybe you will wake up with new insights.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

I hope you had a good day and that the night went well.

    My day was frustrating.

    All day.

Nice outside tonight, though. Not too cold and not hot.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Tangled up in things does not bode well,
especially if you bring them with you when
you try to sleep. Place them gently aside,
so as not to further enmesh them, and
    slide into sleep.

When you wake up in the morning, perhaps
some of them will have straightened out.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and that the night is going well.

Went to McD's tonight and the place was packed with kids
in full costume (and their parent(s)). What ever happened
to waiting until All Hallows' Eve?

The full moon is upon us, beaming down all it's luminous
energy, igniting the brain cells, firing up the sensory
    centers.

To all who are trying to sleep tonight on this side of the bright night earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

What if is not a good place to put
    your head tonight...keep it grounded
on a pillow. Let the moonbeams
dance as they may and stay sheltered
within the grace of the Lady.

Wake up tomorrow and face the fall
out from all the moon's energy. You
    can prevail.

I ask the Lady to smile
    on you every day of
    your life and to bring
    you great joy.

    G'Night.

    The Wild Wind Blows

    The moon is full
    and pouring down
    it's luminous energy

    The wild wind blows

    I yearn
    I long
    I ache to dance

    My upraised arms
    and hands
    twisting
    like snakes

    My head
    thrown back

    My eyes
    and mouth
    my face
    to the moon

    My long hair
    streaming
    around
    my body

    My feet planted
    in the earth
    pounding
    grinding
    and kneading
    the dirt to dust

    And I am alone
    I am alone
    I am alone

    With none to care
    that the wild wind blows

    With none to care
    or even know
