I hope you had a good day and that the night followed suit. Clear skies most of the day for the first time in a long time, seems like. Barely coming out of the dark moon, minutes ago. This one seems to have been hard all the way around. Craziness at work, clients angry, staff stressed. Me, too. The 2nd person they hired to take over my old position was fired, 25 minutes after I started training her. One more to go, and it's back to me if she doesn't work out. I am not at all happy about this. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep soundly and deep, wake up in the morning rested and smile. Blessings, G'Night.
The Lady of Mercy I burn the Dragon's Blood at the east and the west I place the black crystal heart-close between my breasts the Jade that links to the Lady is on my wrist my body lies both north and south upon my bed I draw the red silk up over me to my head the water on my face I take with a finger tip taste the salt as I annoint my forehead, then my lips I call the Lady of Mercy I call the Lady of Mercy I call the Lady of Mercy I give up I say I give up I say I give you up I cry and that which was oh so bright held tight in the dark night it went away
I hope your day went well and that you had a good night. Cloudy skies again, and rain. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: May you receive blessings upon you while you sleep, sleep well and wake up tomorrow with no pain in your heart. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. I hope the night is good, as well. Another overcast day with periodic thunderstorms. The drift from Hurricane Bill, I expect...yesterday too, evidently. It is quiet outside. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep where it is warm and the cold is kept at bay. Sleep where there is light that will keep the dark away. Wake up with a smile to jump start a better day. Blessings, G'Night.
Ahhhh, I hope you had a good day. Blessings bring light to your night. Cloudy again today, but broken clouds and not so much rain. There was actually some blue sky for awhile. The early night felt cooler, too. There were 3 frogs on the front of the house tonight. I heard the horned owl hooting in one of the live oaks. Some of the gods come alive in the night, I think. You can feel it. To all who will sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sometimes the light blazes the brightest at night, deep inside the dark, a halo in the heart, captured in a dream during sleep. So sleep well and find it if you can. Wake up with it still shining through your smile. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night has treated you well. There are a lot of things happening in my life right now, some good, some...difficult. Time after time, I keep thinking that I can see the future, and time after time, I am reminded, sometimes forcibly reminded, that I cannot. It is hard for me to comprehend those whose lives seem steady and charted out...my life has never taken that course, not for as long as I have memory. Yet, I still persist in thinking I know exactly how it will go. Hard headed, I guess...or something. Today, some things, maybe everything, that are happening do not seem to be things that I have the power to change. I feel swept up in events, pulled along by currents, with no forward sight, no paddle. In truth, I have rarely had the power to make changes in where my life goes, so this should not feel like something new...but it does. When I have the chance, I watch the birds, the lizards, the frogs and think that I am very much like them. I do not know if this is good or bad. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sink into sleep, warmly wrapped, safe in the light. Wake up in the morning still wrapped in light. G'Night.
I hope your day and night went well. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep the night through and wake up in the morning blessed by the light. Blessings G''Night
I hope you had a good day and night. Long day today. Very long. More rain, all day. No sun. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well, in warmth. Wake up warm, too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night went well. Rained most of the day. I drove to work at the front of a storm, couldn't outrun it, couldn't slow down enough to let it pass. 45 minutes to work. Then, they tell me I was taken off the schedule. So I turn back, go home. Heavy traffic, rush hour, another 45 minutes. Still. I got the day off. To all who sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep deep in your dreams and dream sweet while you do. Wake up the next morning laughing. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and I hope your night has been good. Rain again today, but dried out enough this afternoon to get my lawn mowed, at last. Grass was almost knee high. I went out tonight to the car and scared a bird that was in the loquat tree. Great amount of wing fluttering and flapping, leaves and branches rattling together and cheeping. I don't know who was the most spooked, the bird or me. It was a good day for me and the night was, too. To all who sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Unfurl your wings, fly high, and smile all day. When it comes time to fall into sleep, take the smile with you. Wake up the next morning and shake out your wings again. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. And that your night went well. No rain today for a change. I work tomorrow. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well. Sweet dreams. have a cheerful morning. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. Blessings from the Lady on your night. Another day without rain. Wow. I could get used to this. a long day today. Up late, up early, a major training to be part of, then dinner. I wish the rest of the staff would stop terrifying the new interns/staff with all the stuff they say about me. Especially when I am low energy and not wanting to deal with it. Life on the river is, as always, moving along. Still no paddle to speak of. The full moon is well on it's way. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: You can travel beyond your boundaries in sleep. Some of the best things can happen there. It is a different type of journey, like dreams are...but better. So sleep well. Wake up in the morning with a new slant on life. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. Overcast again today, but no rain. Interesting and fun today. Terraforming an imaginary island. I mostly watched. And laughed a lot. A friend of mine, she is actually sort of a pupil in some respects, although she teaches me probably more than I teach her, bought an island in Second Life. We found a way to do it cheaply. It is so much fun! To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Life is constantly full of surprises. When you least expect them, as well. That is what I was told, and I've found that to be true. Sleep well, knowing that all things go just the way they are meant to, around in a circle, as it was, as it is, as it will be. Wake up in the morning feeling good. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. May the Lady bless your night. Another overcast day and rain this afternoon. The moon is as close to full as makes no difference. High energy fills the skies, affecting all that soar through the air, including those who have their heads in the clouds, I expect. It makes up some for the grey and dismal day light hours, and the frequent spells of rain. I scared the same bird in the loquat tree again tonight. I was not as spooked this time. The tree frogs are multiplying on the side of my house, as are the lizards. I counted 5 today, before it started raining and drove them into hiding. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: May the Lady shine on you and bring you warmth, joy and the sweetest of dreams. May you keep that feeling all through the day when you wake up tomorrow. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the rest of the night goes well. Another overcast day...very light rain, mostly in the late afternoon and evening. Work was canceled tonight when the room reservation got screwed up. Because of the fire, most of our groups are held elsewhere, in public locations. I had a bit of a confrontation with a guy who thought he could carry on a conversation with a client when I was already talking to her. He didn't like it much when I pointed out that he was interrupting me. I am oblivious to mad-dogging, and the client was trying hard not to laugh, so he got a little angry. Image. Major issue a lot of the time. So I was home before the sun went down. The birds, all except the buzzards who were swapping trees about a block from where I live, were all roosted and most of the squirrels in their nests. Too early to see any frogs and too late for most of the lizards. So tonight...or tomorrow night, depending on which calendar I want to use...the moon blooms. Enjoy the energy. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Slide between the sheets tonight and then slide into sleep. Take a long ride into your dreams and learn what you can from them. Wake up tomorrow energized. Blessings, G'Night.
