I hope you had a good night and that your day goes well today. Probably due to the full moon, work was crazy last night, total chaos and I had to work far into the next shift as well, and have to go back this morning to get my stats in before the report is collated. I missed the Nightly Mission for the first time, and even though it doesn't amount to much, I am sorry about that.
I hope you had a good day. Long day today. Very long. Last night someone said they saw over 20 serious wrecks within a 5 mile stretch of road, separate wrecks, during a really hard storm. Glad I wasn't driving there. The moon, as far as I am concerned is still bigl enough for me to call it full. I am glad the dark moon doesn't seem to last as long...I would be in trouble. I hope you are enjoying the night. It's Friday, afterall. Another work day tomorrow. This is going to be a very very busy month for me. To all who will sleep on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Sleep warm and dream the type of dreams tonight that make you smile and brighten up your life. Wake up in the morning with that same smile on your face. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day. And have an even better night. Long day for me, but still a good day. It didn't rain today. 1st time in awhile. The road to my house has many potholes, thanks to all the water that ran across it. And the road to where I work is even worse. I thought I did in my car's oil pan last night, when I hit a deep rut that went across the road that wasn't there the last time I drove the road, but so far looks like it's ok. Have some fun tonight. To all who sleep on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: May the Goddess or God of your choice be in you tonight and stay there as long as you have need. Wake up tomorrow and shine. Blessings! G'Night!
I hope you had a good day. Once again, twice now in the last couple of days, the power was off in the area this morning. Since I left the a/c on fairly low all night, the house stayed cool enough, but...no computer. And...maybe worse yet...no coffee, either. So I drove to MacDonald's for an iced coffee. It was a nice day. No rain. I sat for a short while on the porch before it got too hot, and the birds and butterflies were out. It was nice to see them. No lizards to be seen, though. August. The hottest month. No hurricanes to date. Maybe the constant rain has some- thing to do with that? The moon wanes and the energy drops. I have been told (yes, I have friends like this) that my strength comes from fire and water, and thus I am often in conflict. The two normally mix only during a lightning storm. And where did I move? Lightning capital of the world. Yet it is the moon that seems to affect me the most. Strange... Another strange thing...I have moved several times. Each time, unknowingly as far as I can tell, I have moved to an area where many people were slaughtered all at once. Enough of the weird stuff. Or maybe more of it, no? To all who sleep on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Ground yourself before going to bed and you'll sleep better. It is easy to do. Stand up and visualize the rain washing all of the day's negative energy down off your body like the shower washes off soap, only through your body as well as without. See it washing the energy down into the ground, until it is all gone. You may even feel this happening. You should feel lighter. When you wake up tomorrow, you can do the same thing, especially if you have had bad dreams. Your day might go a little better. Blessings, G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and the rest of the night goes well. This has been a frustrating and difficult day for me. I lost my computer. I was not sure I could get the old one up and running and needed assistance from a help line to get the modem working. As is typical, I suppose, I was on hold for ages and got disconnected twice. With more holds to follow. I think I lost a friend, too. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: When all is confusion and dark, remember that the world keeps right on turning. Pick yourself up and keep on with your life. Sleep until the morning when things may look different. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night keeps you safe. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep safely in the arms of one who cares; lacking that sleep with no pain or fear. Wake up tomorrow. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night went well. Still using my old computer. Today was a good day. And a good night, so far, too. A friend who lives an hour or so away tells me a bad storm is headed this way, so I expect I'll lose power again shortly. It's not such a big deal at night. The night is comparatively cool. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: When things seem like the worst they could get...that means things are going to get better, soon. And sometimes in surprising ways. Sleep well tonight, safe and warm. Wake up tomorrow with a smile somewhere close...maybe on your own face. Blessings, G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. My old computer is also not working now. I drove to work today in a thunderstorm behind someone pulling a trailer with one of those things with a blade on the front, no way to pass, and he had no taillights, either. I did not swear, which was unusual. The road to work is worse, deeper ruts, and a new very large and deep pothole, all from the last 2 storms that came through. I am still not leaking oil, which is a miracle. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Take time for yourself, sleep soundly and dream sweet. Wake up tomorrow and be happy. Blessings, G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and the night finishes well. I have new computer. Now I have to figure out how to get the portraits off the old one and into the new one. It has Vista. And I haven't a clue how to work most of what it does. Another learning experience. They just don't quit. Some days, that's good...very good indeed! Other days? Well, I'm not talking about the other days. I cannot get my favorite internet radio station to play. Someone turned me on to Radio Gothic, which does play...so now I am learning to like um music I didn't think I would. I saw a little lizard on my porch again when I came home last night. And a couple of tree frogs. No owl, though. To all who will sleep...eventually...on this side of the earth tonight, The Nightly Mission: Fly as high as you can, even if you burn off all your feathers...it's worth it. Make sure you have a safety net first...just in case. The fall is hard, and you wouldn't want to break your wings. Unless, of course, you like being earth-bound. Sleep well and try flying some in your dreams. Maybe bring some of that into the next day when you wake up. Blessings, G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. It rained off and on most of the day again. There is just no possible way we are still in a drought. Had to cut off my fingernails in order to use this laptop. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the planet, The Nightly Mission: The night comes with it's silence and one must listen hard to catch the message that it brings, as it is often sent in dreams or to the heart, rather than through the normal channels. Sleep warm, wrapped in your dreams. Wake up in the morning without fear. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and enjoyed the passing night. Thank you, TS Claudette for another overcast and rainy day. I should be grateful it wasn't a hurricane. The moon slivers down to a crescent and will soon be dark. Chaos is already thriving, and I do not look forward to working tomorrow. All through the day, the Lady Inanna displayed her sense of humor, sending equal amounts of fire and water to bless those she favors. She has a wicked sense of humor. Inanna rides in on chaos, and certainly leaves it in her wake. The wind that precedes her rings the bells in all the towers, warning those who stand in her path to run for cover. One hardly knows whether to laugh, sigh or cry. Perhaps this one will turn to the Lady of Mercy instead (said under the breath, cautiously). To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Drown in sleep, sinking down through the currents to where the best dreams are found, sending bright bubbles to the surface, sparkling and shining on the night's black seas. Wake up in clarity. Blessings, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night has blessed you with happiness. The moon continues to decrease. I got a rare piece of luck today and didn't have to work. I think someone noticed how many hours they gave me. Life has been an interesting mix of late and shows every indication that it will continue that way for awhile. I feel like a rowboat. Maybe a kayak is a better term. That's what I get, probably, for likening my 'path' to a river. Whoever heard of a continuously smooth and placid river? Not I. And I'd be bored if it was. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Gather all the warmth to you that you can find. Breathe. Grow wings in your sleep and meet the morning wind without fear. G'Night.
Three Words The wind out of the north comes sweeping around my house bearing cold in it's arms. It has no heart. I hear three words over and over again in the soughing at the windows. It will not stop. I run from window to window closing the way in, lock and lean against the door. It does no good. The wind slams into my refuge. slams again and again, shatters it into pieces. It falls apart. I stand in the middle of nothing, the anchor gone, my hands over my ears. It takes my heart.
I hope you had a good day. I hope the night found you well. I suppose the moon must be dark by now, I haven't looked. To all who sleep on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Sleep tonight. Wake up tomorrow. G'Night.
Am using a neighbor's computer tonight. I hope you had a good day, I hope the night goes well. To all who sleep on the dark side of the earth tonight, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well. Dream sweet. Wake up tomorrow. Blessings, G'Night.
