I hope you had a good day.

The night is well underway and I hope it has also been good.

Rained today, most of the day. Hard part of the time. I will be glad
when summer is over and I can go back outside. I am missing the
color green, badly. I'll even settle for bare branches if it isn't hot.

Some of the people I know, in real life and on 2nd Life, are behaving
very bizarrely, imo. It really makes me wonder, sometimes, about
why I know such strange people in the first place. And generally like
    them.

To all who will sleep this night on the dark side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    When comfort knocks at your
door, it may bring great risk.

    So walk cautiously when comfort
takes your hand and leads you
down a path that you've never
    walked before.

On the other hand, where would
you be if you didn't take risks.

A conundrum of the first order.

    Sleep well, sleep warm and
    wake up tomorrow!

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day. I hope the night goes well.

Long and difficult day for me.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep until the moon kisses the sky goodbye
and the sun bids you welcome, whenever that
    may be.

    G'Night.

    In the Lair

    His voice calls me
    I come to it
In the middle of the lair
    with danger everywhere.

    I am the light.
    He is the night.

    His eyes call me
    I come to them
In the middle of the lair
    dark shadows everywhere.

    He is the light.
    I am the night.

    His arms hold me
    I am in them
In the middle of the lair
    flames flicker everywhere.

    We are the light.
    We are the night.

    Oh, how we burn
    each other.
    How we burn in
    each other.
    Oh, how we burn
    together.

    The whole world
    turns and burns
    when we are
    together.

    When we are
    together
    the whole world
    turns and burns.

I hope you had a good day and the night, too.

A large bird sat on my porch railing last night, judging from
the dropping that was there. I think it was an owl...it had
small bones in it. Maybe mice bones from what was visible,
although I sure wouldn't know what mice bones look like.

It rained again today, but not all day.

To all who sleep on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep with the light tonight,
    keep your mind clear and
    stay warm.

    Wake up tomorrow!

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and that the night went well.

There are some stars out tonight, but most of them are
obscured by the clouds and apparently, so is the moon.

It is warm, pleasantly so, and although the humidity is
very high, it doesn't feel sticky. A nice night out.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sit still for awhile, let the night and the silence
sink in and clear the noise from the day's events
out of your head. Bring an image of safety and
serenity into your mind and make it real.

A shady willow tree next to the river, a cool breeze
blowing through the hanging curtain of branches
all green with leaves, the sun coming in from a
distance. The air smells like willow and damp
earth. The river talks if you listen and can sing
    you back inside your skin.

Then, once you are firmly there...take it with
    you and sleep.

Wake up tomorrow and find that place again
    if you need it.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day.

Way into the night...nope that went well, too.

It was overcast and cloudy again most of the day.

Rained, of course. The landscaping business here is doing poorly. They get
    rained out almost every day.

The squirrels are busy cutting down the pine cones and my driveway is littered
with chewed up pine cones and pine cone pieces. At least they aren't eating birds,
as far as I can tell anyway.

A busy day for me tomorrow.

To all who sleep on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

Have sweet dreams tonight when you sleep
and wake up tomorrow morning with a smile.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day yesterday and last night, too and have a great day today, beginning this morning.

This is about as late as I have ever been.

To all who still sleep on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Find yourself and hold true to who you are,
    sleep with sweet dreams,
get up to meet the new day with resolve
    in your head and heart.

    G'Night...and...G'Morning!

I hope you all had a good day.

I slept most of the day away. Missed the rain...if it rained.

My night is a little less chaotic than last night...at least so far.

I hope you have a good night, too.

The full moon is already coming up, fast. Or seems like it to me.
    Good...I like the full moon.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Keep a strong heart, even when it
feels like all bravery has left. Fill
it up from whatever source you can
    draw from.

Sleep warm, leave your cares behind,
and sleep well. Dream sweetly and
wake up in good spirits. What more
    could you ask for?

    G'Night!

    nibble nibble

the mad march hare bounds along
leaves a scent as he goes on
    acrid sweet musky

    chomps the fairest flower
    bites the sour mean weed

    nibble nibble nibble
    chew chew chew

    he'll eat me

    and

    he'll eat you

    too

I hope you had a good day.

Friday night...I hope you have some fun tonight.

A fairly nice day today, warm but amazingly enough
very little rain. Except just now it started raining.

I was up early this morning considering everything
and noticed the birds were out again. Must be feeding
    season for the babies.

I role played with a kitty for awhile tonight and that
was interesting...trying to think in cat terms...and be
    nice about it.

The moon is waxing and getting close to full.

To all who sleep on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Play well and fight hard.
    Sometimes you do both
at the same time. In life
    as elsewhere.

    Sleep with the gods watching
over you tonight, have no fear
    or sorrow. I have asked
    them to smile on you.

    Wake up tomorrow. The day
will be new and bright things
    may happen.

I hope you had a good day.

    Mostly clear skies today, hurray!

We had a short thunderstorm that blew over fast.
It didn't even drop much rain.

I actually flirted with someone in the store today.
It was short, but fun. I should do that more often.

And I got a decent amount of sleep for a change.

To all who sleep on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

You can't see rainbows at night,
but you can take them with you to
bed, anyhow. The gold at the end
is different for everyone. But it is
    there, nonetheless.

    Sleep well.

Wake up tomorrow and take some
of that gold with you out into the
    world.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and the end of the weekend is going well tonight.

The full moon waxes to 92% full.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    May you go to bed
    in a state of grace,
    sleep well
    dream sweet
    and wake up with
    some of that still
    with you.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and that the moon is smiling on you tonight.

I thought I had lost my computer for awhile. It crashed during
a particularly close lightning strike while we were having an
afternoon thunderstorm, the first time that's ever happened.
But it came back on and nothing seems wrong.

Other than that, it has been a good day. I am smiling.:)

The birds were singing after the storm and looking for the
worms that always come up to get away from the water
    when it rains.

It was cooler, too. For a little while.

I saw a bird I've never seen before and wonder what else
is new birdwise, since I have been driven indoors by the heat.

The moon is a good as full as far as I am concerned, but will
    bloom in total tomorrow night.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

May your heart rise and be as full of light
as the moon and know no pain or evil.

Dream of what fills you with joy,
and wake up tomorrow happy and good
    with life.

    G'Night! G'Night! Have a great night!

I hope you had a good day.

    Mine was frustrating.

My a/c went out. Couldn't go to work. Called a repairman.
In the middle of fixing it, the entire town lost power. So he
didn't know if it was fixed when he left. I decided to sleep
since it was so hot, and just about the time I was falling
asleep, the power comes on. But no a/c. Call again. It
finally got fixed around 7:30 or so.

    Yay! It's cool.

    And a full moon tonight.

I hope your night goes well, too.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

Enjoy the energy from the full moon,
but don't let it keep you from sleep.

Wake up tomorrow with some moon
light in your head and be a little silly.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day.

    I've been sap-silly all day.

I wish my calendars would get synchronized.
One says the full moon was early early morning
    the other says tomorrow night.

    Whatever...it feels good.

One of Florida's big bad thunderstorms happened
on the way home from work. My car started hydro-
planing twice. Either the hwy was flooded or a
power line was down, because there was a detour
where the front had just passed.

But dry pavement in my little town.

    May your night go well.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Do something that makes
you laugh before you go to
    bed.

    Travel your dreams tonight
and see what your brain is
    working on.

    Stay warm.

    Wake up tomorrow and find
    that laughter again.

    Blessings!

    G'Night!
