Aelf Pale blue pools of light burn, hot, under white trails falling out of the dark night. Whiter still what surrounds them, red blood on the snow, caught, wanton black fire. Blacker than black, onyx wings sail up and out, wild wind scorching the sky. Soul driven, a call sings, torrid with heat, awesome, sharp claws sunk heart deep. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. And a very bright, spectacular night! Happy (late) 4th of July. I hope you spent time with family, loved ones and/or friends, any combination. For such a small little neighborhood, it appears that many of the residents have guns. Either that or some maniac was running around the streets here firing away like mad. It happens every 4th of July and every New Year's Eve. I wonder where all the bullets go? Earlier...much earlier...there were all the little ones out on their driveways getting instructions on how to wave their sparklers properly. It is almost like everyone sets a timer, they all come out at once, seems like. Well, that was intelligent. Of course there was a timer...the sun went down. The full moon comes nigh. Another day or two. I am tired, and seek sleep. With that.. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Deep in sleep, I hope sweet dreams come to you and bring you to bliss. May it stay with you when you wake up in the morning! Blessings and light, G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. The moon waxes, full within hours. Rising, the heat left from the heart of the day meets the moon. What a bright night it is. To all who sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: May the night find you safe and warm, sheltered in your dreams. And take you into the next day with no harm. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and that the front part of the night went well. Full moon tonight and I would normally be energized, but not this time. Too tired. But I hope you get some good out of it...and have a little fun. A shame to waste a full moon. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Send out your strength and positive energy to all those you care for, and it will come back three-fold. So 'they' say, and I do believe it. (Sometimes it takes a little time...but time is all we really have anyway.) And you will sleep better, too. Wake up to a new day...and continue your journey. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well. The full moon is upon us. Another early night for me. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: The moon smiles on us all tonight. May it bring you sweet dreams and keep you warm. And the light bring you through to the morning. Blessings, G'Night!
I hope you had a fine day and that the night follows suit. Rained all day here, but quit for awhile when I was driving home. Gorgeous sunset, magnificent colors, irradiated edges of clouds, brilliant rays, all that. Great music, hardly any traffic. Paid out a lot considering the amount of energy I expended at work. Moon is still huge, but starting to decline. To all who will sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well and restore yourself. Wake up fresh in the morning. G'Night!
the dance day ends, night begins heaven rolls into hell looks around, takes a seat decides to stay for a spell the angels are aghast this cannot be they cry the demons move in fast whirling, arms held up high strange music fills the air black thunder drums the song honey sweet harps sing fair the hot red bells ring clear then in the dark night heaven rises, bows to hell hell bends down to the light yin and yang start to dance there is no heaven or hell, not any more only the smile dancing with the 2 on the floor
I hope you had a good day and a better night. A few long hard days for me. Too many things to do, energy flying out everywhere, few resources. I'm never going to quit smoking again. But...I can breathe. So there's that. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well tonight and let your dreams talk to you, remind you of your goals, open the doors of insight, bring you joy. Whatever you need, you will find. Wake up and meet the day on it's own ground. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and the first part of the night. My day went much better today. Amazing what some sleep can do for you. No rain today, for a change. Clear blue, a few clouds in the afternoon, beautiful. And hot. The moon is still large in the night sky, but waning. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Clear your head and your heart and let the moon's smile fill you up with light. Sleep well and long and get up tomorrow with new enthusiasm. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day. Late again. It's well into the next day. Hope the first part of the night went well. To all who sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well. Wake up in the morning! G'Night.
The Rose Rose petals lie on the sand scattered everywhere darkest red, almost black in full sun curling in the light. A hand holds the stem of all that is left of the rose and drops it to lay amongst the petals where it belongs. Blood drops follow it falling through the air prized out from the hand by the thorns that the sweetest roses always have. The wraith of time passes by scythe shouldered, plies its curse on the petals and blood and changes them to fine powder. Somewhere nearby a dark crow flies, calls and calls and calls the sound harsh, loud and cold as empty as the barren land.
I hope you had a good day and that the night went well. Fairly clear skies today, until this evening when it finally rained...again. I like rain. I like the wind. I like just about everything weather-wise, but heat. No lizard, I. And I haven't seen one of the lizards for a long time now. Only fleeting glimpses of birds. Someone who is of Native American ancestry told me today that we all have 2 spirit guides, or protectors. Animals. One predator, one prey. For balance. I was told some years ago that mine were a tiger and a hummingbird. But I didn't know the reference. That's interesting. I have been seeking balance for the last 6 months or so. And to all appearances have certainly not achieved it. Far from it, in my estimation. Lost in the maelstrom. But I was told today that I am much closer than I think. Apparently, if I can believe it, the balance beam swings wildest just before it settles. Defies reason. I can hope. To all who sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: In the dark, meditate on the light, give it entry. Trust where you are at. Sleep and remember your dreams. And wake up with hope in the morning. G'Night.
