I hope you had a good day. Thanks to a phone call that I had to take outside, I saw 2 lizards today. The large brown one that frequents the porch railing, and a much smaller, very skinny one in the back yard on the meter post. I didn't even come close to quitting smoking today. And was thoroughly chewed out by everyone I know. So I try again tomorrow. No moon tonight. And, as is my wont, I am crazy. So be it. To all who sleep tonight on the dark side of the Earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep well, and bring the light with you if you can. Or dwell deep in the night in the dark again. May the morning come 'round, and find you safe and sound. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day. And that the first part of the night went well. According to my calendars, we are still in the dark of the moon. I knew that without looking. Not that I am a glutton for darkness (somewhat of an understatement), but Pink Floyd is my choice of music tonight. Until I decide to fall into sleep. 85 degrees out at midnight and 45% humidity. The mosquitoes are happy, no doubt. Unless their wings are too wet to fly. I hope the frogs are busy. I did better with not smoking today. Less than 1/2 a pack, and the last one close to 5 hours ago. So I am getting there. Tomorrow...none. I cut my fingernails short a little while ago. Obstentiously to type better, but considering the walls also...not wanting to damage them, particularly. To all who sleep tonight on the dark side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: When the moon gives no light, gather starshine in it's place. Take it to bed tonight, put the smile back on your face. If the light is overdue wear it in the morning, too. G'Night!
I hope your day went well and that the night was good for you. No cigarettes today. Took 1 of the nicotine lozenges and that was a mistake. It made me sick...was the lowest dose I could find, too. To all who went to sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The (very late) Nightly Mission: Sleep so deep that all around you there is no sound except the sighing of your breath as you are lying there without a care. Rise in the morning out of the dark with peace in your heart. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day. I worked today, doing something that I haven't done for 6 months. And it was good. I was good. I was in a part of town this evening that I haven't been in for quite a while. It's where all the new car dealerships are. Used to be 6, IIRC. There are only 3 now. But several used car lots have sprung up. A lot of store fronts are empty, too. There is so much new building going on where I live, that it is hard to tell that the economy is bad. So that was a surprise. When I got home, a little tree frog was on the screen door. And it is fairly nice out tonight...hardly any humidity. The moon is waxing. Still cigarette free. My mosquito bites are just now looking like normal bites. Except for 2 of them, but they are better. Finally. I hope you have a good night. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: May you hear a bright song in your head as you lie in bed waiting to fall into sleep. And I hope it plays all through the night and brings a little light into your dreams. If you have luck, perhaps it will follow you into the morning. G'Night.
Patches are too strong, also. Last time I quit (and succeeded), I cut them in 1/4s and they were still too strong.
7 Silver Horses 7 Silver Horses dance prance across a creamy dreamy chrome sky bright silver sparkling. They fly. 7 Silver Horses run stung by lightning singing ringing twice shy white smoke blurring. They cry. 7 Silver Horses fall all through a gate burning turning in fire red flames flaring. They die. 7 Silver ghosts glow blown on the late gloaming roaming the bier bled pale mourning. They sigh.
I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well for you. I saw a pair of cardinals by the patio at work. I miss seeing the birds. And the patio simply crawls with lizards everywhere. The color changing lizards that live at my house, but another type too, a skink of some kind, I think. I notice there are few fire ants here where I work, so maybe that is the reason for the prevalence of the lizards. Lots of fire ants at my house. I don't use poison. A warm night, but the moisture is low so it isn't unbearable. The moon is tiny, but waxing. Another day, so far, of no cigarettes, the 3rd. It is supposed to get easier after this. We'll see. A long ride home tonight, when I get to leave. My shift replacement is late. And to those who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: The sleep that starts before midnight is supposed to be the most restorative. So get to bed early, wake up refreshed. So they say. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day. And that a good night awaits you. Warm and muggy out tonight. A quick thunderstorm moved through earlier, but didn't seem to cool anything off, much. Last night I drove home on the back country road again, playing the music I like and scooting along. A little spooky when the moon is so thin and there is no traffic. Not many lights along the road, except for the horse farms. Ranches I suppose. Except when I think of ranches, I think of the ranches in Eastern Oregon...miles of ranch. Not just some acres to graze your horses on. But still, I like the idea of horse farms in the area. Racing horses. I am glad I don't live near a race track. I'd probably have a new addiction. I love to watch horses run flat out. Barring the legs, almost parallel to the ground. When I got home, there was a tiny little lizard running around on the porch. I hope nothing was after it. Can't think of another reason for a lizard to be out that late. So somebody (lizard that is) had babies. The moon should be looking like a lemon slice soon. I have eaten so many jelly beans the last couple of days or so that I am sick of them. Someone got me the last batch and they were weird. Popcorn jelly beans. Bubblegum. Chocolate Mint. Peanut butter. Who eats jelly beans like that, anyway? I did. But no more. I'm switching to red licorice. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Be kind to yourself and go to sleep with a clear head. Imagine a wastebasket and empty your thoughts into it. Or erase them off a whiteboard. Scribble them on there, in brief, then erase them off. By the time you are done, you should be very tired. And so goes my mind, tonight. Off into bizarro land. I hope you wake up tomorrow and that the day goes well. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and that the night brings you joy. Still not smoking and not liking it much. The lemon slice moon is high in the sky. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Fall into sleep before the dawn comes along. Greet the day when it comes with a smile. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and that the night is going well. I am into red licorice for awhile. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: Sleep often comes when it will and carries messages in dreams that may not further your hopes. If so, don't let them spill over to the next day. Leave them behind where they have no power. G'Night.
Hey! Another day of red licorice. Yum! I hope you had a good day and night. Nothing but craziness on this end. Must be the red licorice. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the world, The Nightly Mission: I wish you sweet dreams and happiness. Wake up with a smile, either on your face, or on a face looking at you. Blessings. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day...and night. Late, again. It rained most of the day today, and yesterday, too. And did not cool off to any extent. The grass in my front yard is growing like mad. And so are the bushes...while the long-forgotten dogwood is lushly green. So rain is good. The frogs must like it. I am on my 3rd package of red licorice. Soon, I will hate it as much as I do the jelly beans. I may turn diabetic from all the sugar. So which is worse, diabetes or smoking? Maybe chewing gum is the answer. I have a temple on 2nd Life. And since I rarely get to see the birds here anymore, I have populated the outside of the temple with hummingbirds, cardinals and swallows. There are ravens flying above the mountain, and I'm going to find an owl somewhere and put it in a tree. Laugh all you want, but it works for me. No moon in sight tonight, too overcast. And to all who are sleeping tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleeping takes up a good portion of life. So send yourself some positive energy when you lie down, feel it fill you up from your head to your toes and take it with you into sleep. You'll wake up feeling better. Sweet dreams and Blessings. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and the night is going well. Beautiful sunset tonight on the drive home from work. When I listen to something I really like on the cd player in the car, I forget to shift. I have a manual shift and shift by ear. I rarely watch the tach and I guess I need to start doing that. The rpm's were um very high before I realized I was still in 3rd gear. This is becoming a habit, a bad one. The other option is to stop listening to the cd player, and that's not going to happen. Someone in the neighborhood has two new kitties. That makes 5 cats in our cul-de-sac. Not counting the ones that cruise through, visiting. And 4 dogs. If you didn't count the kids, there would be more pets than people. I should invest in animal food companies... A good day, today. Work again tomorrow. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep through the night, not waking until the morning. Start the day with a smile, if you can. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day! May the night go well for you. And I hope you have tomorrow off, like I do! And Saturday, as well. Yay! Lots of people leaving the area for a mini-vacation. Horrible traffic in and out of town. Out, I understand. In? No sense to that one. The moon is coming up full soon. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep heals the head, heart and body. And so do dreams that are sweet. I wish you both, so you can wake up in the morning and feel clear. Blessings! G'Night!
