Like everything I write about, except perhaps the daily postings, it has a double meaning.

Would be quite different if it was white armor, no?

The sun is warm enough this morning to bring out the lizards.

One scurries along the porch railing, and I spy another climbing the loquat tree.

The birds are in the pines now, as well as the live oaks.

I was on the porch late last night and I saw a firefly all alone flashing it's light.
And I thought, how sad. It calls and calls and no one comes. It flashes
    it's life away, for naught.

And then I realize that I am seeing the street light flash off a spider's eyes as
it climbs it's web. I have to laugh at myself. I am such a melodramatic
    romantic at times. Heh.

I do like the fireflies, but they will not come this early. The heat at night brings them out, and it isn't that hot yet. Yet.

Hope you had a good night and slept well.

I hope you have a good day.

Oh yeah, we'd REALLY be wondering about you then! :poke:

"OMG, what happened to Scry? She's turned to the "Light" side." :yikes:

EDIT: Hey, wait a minute.... GA mentioned the "black armour" thingie. I just proposed a possible reasoning behind the colour choice. I ALMOST felt guilty there for a second!

I hope you had a good day and early night.

It's warm out again. No rain, sky is clear.

This late, it is almost always quiet. Nice.

To all who go to sleep or already have on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

Smile and let the day's cares
    go away for awhile. Dream
    of sweet things and joy.

    Stay in the light.
    Wake to a bright day.

    G'Night!

    Good morning!

Another sunny and warm day begins.

A dove came within 3 feet of where I sat,
didn't even seem to mind it when I moved.

Two lizards scramble around on the porch.

The birdfeeder is popular again, but there
are no sparrows anywhere in the vicinity.
I wonder where they have gone.

The frogs that hide under the shutters are
still alive and well, but nowhere near as numerous
as last year. I saw 2 of them poking their heads
out last night. Last year there 14 in all.

I went dancing last night at 2nd Life in one of the most
romantic places I have ever seen. Too bad it isn't
real. Everyone at 2nd Life can equalthe dancing on
Dancing With the Stars; it is quite beautiful to watch.
    Some very good programmers.

Besides the pet rat that rides on my shoulder, I now
have a tiny dragon that follows me around when I 'tell' it
    to.

And I met the queen of one of the vampire clans.

I am thinking of attending one of the scripting schools,
but don't know where I will find the time.

I hope you had a good night, and woke up with a smile
this morning. May your day be one of joy.

    Stay in the light!

    All Hoped Out

    One faint spark
    drifting
    catches hope
    flares nova,
    ignites the heart.

    Hosanna, sings
    the surging
    blood,
    dancing dancing
    in the dark.

    All hoped up
    all hoped up
    in the dark,
    a blitz run
    to the sun.

    Fire consumes,
    burns so
    bright,
    pretty light...

    Eats the dark,
    eats the night
    eats the life
    eats it all.

    Sooner,
    not later
    running
    empty
    ashes fall...

    A pity.

    Good morning!

I hope you all had a good night or day, depending on where the sun was at.

It was warm last night and the sky was clear. Stars everywhere. Warm this morning, too, but the clouds are rolling in. I hope it rains.

One of the doves flew to the porch railing this morning, walked nervously in tight little circles, watching me. I think it is the same one that came so close yesterday. I could have touched it if I had reached out. It flew off after about a minute. A long time in a bird's life.

    The buzzards circle overhead again.

I am off to work this afternoon.

I hope you all have a good day (or night).

Another warm night and no rain.

I saw the first frog tonight sitting on my driveway.

It's a normal size frog, not those little tree frogs. It's probably a toad, but
I don't like the sound of 'toad' so it's a frog to me. I hope it eats a lot of
    bugs.

I hope you had a good day and that your night has been blessed.

To all who go to sleep tonight on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

When you are down, feeling blue
and no one is there for you
in the middle of the night.

Say a prayer for someone who
is hurting, has no one, too.
Open your heart, call the light.

Ask for him or her to be blessed
    with happiness.

    G'Night!

    Good Morning!

The clouds that came in yesterday have left. The weatherman says there will be more, and a chance of rain. My lawn needs some rain.

I saw a crow, or perhaps a large blackbird, carrying some moss to build a nest. First time so far that I've noticed that.

I saw one of the cardinal pairs yesterday, too, in a tree across the street. I haven't seen them for awhile now.

I am off to work again today.

I hope you have a good day.

Coming home from work, I see where the hawks live. They are in the trees by the overflow pond which is very bad news. The trees will all be cut down soon to make
way for new business buildings. I hope it waits until the hawk's young are grown.

Only 1 little tree frog in sight, sitting on my living room window shutter. The toad or
frog or whatever it is sits on the driveway close to the lawn. There are no moths
flying around the streetlight strangely enough, so it isn't sitting under it waiting for
one to singe it's wings and fall.

Half a moon up tonight. It is so quiet out, just a faint noise in the distance from some
crickets or perhaps from the peeper frogs in the overflow pond.

I hope you had a good day, and that the first part of the night went well.

To all who go to sleep tonight on this side of the world,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep tonight and find peace.
Wake up to the light in the morning.

    G'Night.

    Good morning!

    Warm and muggy this morning.

Bright enough out to wear my sunglasses.

The sky is clear and blue.

As usual for Sunday in the South, it is quiet. Even the
birds are not singing to their normal levels.

An armadillo was on my lawn for awhile last night before
I scared it off. Strange creatures. Surely they are left
over from a past age. When it first noticed me, it started
to roll up, then must have decided otherwise and hurried
off to the neighbor's lawn, keeping to the shadows from
    the trees.

A half moon out in the night sky.

The vampire tells me he has a girlfriend, finally. I
congratulate him. We keep our contract, nonetheless.

I hope you had a good night and that day is bright with light.

Man, you'd think that even in an "online" setting, people would at least mention that they're involved with someone (in RL) straight away, instead of letting something continue(develop?) that is inevitably fruitless in it's conclusion.

Just seems easier to get it out if the way as to avoid any confusion (or possible hurt feelings) later. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The problem was that he lost his gf. And was in a very bad space over it. And finally has a new one. All of this online.
