I do not get it. But Queen Scryler is known to be a lot smarter than regular paladins, so she will figure it out, I suppose...
Welcome back and all that! Sorry, but it seems that the best way to attach that plexiglass is by drilling holes through it and using a combo of nuts, bolts, and even brackets. You wont need large ones and should have a wide variety to choose from for aesthetic purposes. Good Luck! You do know you've lost that battle with Lexi and the computer chair, right? No way to get her to give that up now! One thing to consider... don't cover it. Just move it and leave it alone. There's a very good chance that Lexi will be just fine with it being open. Cats (usually) are quite smart. Unless you've seen Lexi exhibit non-kitten-age-related acts of stupidity, you'll be fine. I do completely get your concern as a "pet-parent" however, being one myself.
Buying a hand driven drill seems like a good idea. I think I'll try that. There are 3 dangerous sides, 1 of them is already against the bookcase, so I'm not putting plexiglass on that side. I'd like to use the mirror clips, since they are small and don't detract from the um attractiveness. They have holes (or a slot I guess) where I can use a small bolt/washer/nut to secure each one. Lexi is a smart cat but she is also very curious and already tried to stick her head through the open ivy wire design. Aside from jumping, she can stand on the back of the chaise lounge to do it, and my concern was if she tried to squeeze through and fell off the chaise, well you get the idea. Cat proofing. I only have a very superficial concept of what Feng Shui is, although I do have a book around somewhere on it. However, I am very good at balance and have always been able to place an odd assortment of things so they are harmonious, so...except for the direction my bed faces...I'm not too concerned with that. I also consider the Guardians when I place my furniture, at least in the front room. Thanks for the info, guys. And for the welcome back
For those of you who are animal lovers, here is a link to an organization helping pets who have survived the earthquake/tsunami in Japan: http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelo...s-and-humans-on-japans-quirky-cat-island-safe There are, of course, worthwhile organizations to help people who have survived over there, but this is the only one I've seen for animals. Thanks to a friend for this link!!
In approximately 2 hours EST, the moon will be at it's closest point to the Earth, making it the biggest full moon in years! Hope you get a chance to enjoy it!
I also consider the Guardians when I place my furniture, at least in the front room Intriguing... can you post a link about these?

I was looking at the wrong moon info when I wrote this. I need to delete that gadget. It's actually tonight. And looking at it driving in to work, it is definitely the largest full moon I've ever seen, at least when it is high in the sky and not close to the horizon. Most cars were not even doing the speed limit tonight on the way in, so everyone must have been enjoying the sight. Gorgeous!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lunar_perigee_apogee.png Wiki says difference between "the largest" Moon and "the smallest" Moon is only 12%, so I do not think it is stunningly LARGE now Of course, there are some atmospheric phenomena, which can enlarge the Moon. Once I saw it about 50% larger and all cream-coloured...
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. Tonight is 'the' night for my senses, or at least 2 of them. I have this organic yogurt that I like and I mixed some wild blueberry preserves into it, and omg it is the best concoction I've ever eaten. I thought at first the preserves was a local cottage industry product, since we grow blueberries in this area, but no, it's from France. Now whoever heard of a commercial product from wild blueberries? Visions of hundreds of workers bent over tediously picking blueberries sit in my head... It's still incredibly delicious. And I'm listening to some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. And I'm sorry I don't have a link to post, I wish I did. So my mouth and my ears. Sated. On to less esoteric matters, the doctor said I do not have pneumonia. I still have bronchitis. So back on the antibiotics. She thinks I have strained a muscle from coughing so much, and that's why my chest hurts. So back on the codeine cough medicine. And I think I'm going to take up sleeping for recreation, since that seems to be the only way I am going to get over this um crap. (Sorry for that.) How long have I been sick now? Months. Speaking of sleep...guess who is going to drift off with the sound of that lovely music softly playing in the background (and the taste of wild blueberries still in my mouth)? Yep. Me. Ahhhh, now if I only had satin sheets... May the Lady smile on you and me too.
Instead of medicinal cough remedies I recommend something like Potters Vegetable Cough Remover and a good old hot toddy before bed. This combination allowed me to survive a bout of swine flu over Christmas.
I do not know about The Hurricane Zone, but in Russia and Ukraine this winter was a flu-like virus, which frequently gave heart complications. So people thought they have pneumonia, because their chest hurts, but they had heart complication
