    Annoyingly, most of these issues are things I had fixed before the save corruption bug occurred last week. On the up side I know how to fix them all, (and had done before) so I can address all these issues quickly.

    House 1 in Easthaven is still set to allow camping - rather than Pass time only, the Snowdrift Inn is set to no camping allowed rather than pass time only - I think Random_Encounter.py is responsible for these states, but I struggle with complex script files like this one. Also a script to spawn a hostile Hrothgar in full on shitkicking mode needs to be written for when PC's attack anyone in Easthaven - except the Goblins obviously.

    Yah, I'll do the random_encounter script when I can concentrate (having a 'work from home' day today and playing between crises :))

    EDIT: Heh, missed an important email while I was in Kuldahar Pass. Ces't la vie :p

    Ok, gave a good account of myself there but my small second level party, having cleared out the groups at both ends, got walloped in the middle, primarily because I was rolling 3s and the goblins were rolling 18s. It really does stop being funny after a while. Goblin placement very good though, fun encounter either way.

    As much as I'd love to take credit for enemy placement I really can't, I had Near Infinity open on one monitor, and World Ed open on the other, so enemy placement is as near as possible to original IWD enemy placement.

    Such is the legacy of a 10 year long EVE Online addiction: My PC has 2 hard drives, each with a different OS (Win 10 and Win Vista), 2 Radeon HD 5850 GFX cards (which can be crossfire linked to double frame rate on a single screen or unlinked to give me a desktop spread across 3 screens), a mediocre gaming keyboard and gaming mouse - each with programmable buttons. None of which helped me become awesome at EVE Online (but playing Dirt 3 in windowed mode stretched across 3 screens is awesome).

    I've not done quite as much as I'd wanted today, though I did get some testing done, @FDR4PREZ you are right, the orcs aren't in patch 1, they are in this one however, and the Orc outside the cave should now both run off and set game.global_vars[3] = 1 I must have copied files from the wrong installation. Jhonen should also comment about his dream song now too.

    Patch 2 is available here. Extract this file to the ToEE root folder, select the patch2 addon and launch the game.

    More fixes to follow.

    RE: the chests in the Orc cave, I might have to change them ro a different chest type, those ones do open, but you need to click on them twice for some dumb reason, I only chose those because they are the right size to cover the ones painted onto the map - I can make other chests bigger though, so I may explore that option.

    @Allyx - no luck on the Orc Cave using Patch2. It is still empty.

    I extracted the patch, copied it to the Addons folder, and selected it in the front-end and it did its thing. I used a saved game that was from the initial shop map, and then I even started a complete new game.

    hmm, ok. Can you check the contents of your maps/Orc Cave folder and have a quick count of how many files exist with the .mob extension for me please?

    EDIT: I'm an idiot, the caves are empty because the patch's file path is wrong...

    in your ToEE/modules folder you should have a maps folder, move this into the ToEE folder and it should work.

    I think I am looking in the right spot - please let me know:
    E:\Temple of Elemental Evil\modules\ToEE\maps\AR1201_Orc_Caves

    There are 20 MOB files in there.

    In my last run through I basically went straight there...Started a new game, went to the little boy and got his fish back, went to kill the wolves, the shadowy guy outside the cave disappeared. I entered and it was empty. I don't need to see Hrothgar first, do I?

    Do you have a maps folder in your modules file? If so delete the modules/toee/maps file and move the modules/maps one into the ToEE folder.

    I think I messed up the file path in the patch, so the new files went to the wrong location

    My modules folder does not have a maps folder.

    Inside my modules folder there are a bunch of folders named AR####

    This is my contents of the modules folder:

    Also, in the ToEE folder at the bottom of FDRs screenshot there is a maps folder, which seems to contain the AR* folders also in the modules folder...guessing these AR* folders shouldn't be in two places and just need to get the correct ones in the correct path.

    ah ok, cut everything but ToEE, and paste them into ToEE/maps and it should work then mate.
