    I have yet another problem.

    I cannot get the new mod to activate in TFE-X.

    It has the little circle thing going that indicates it is trying to,
    but it never does.

    So where am I now?

    HELP!!

    I have Vista Home Premium. I do not have the new mod, but 5.6.0 ToEE works for me under the following conditions:

    TFE-X (In Atari Folder), right click > Properties. Hit the compatibility tab, then select "Run this program in compatibility mode" and I have Win XP SP 2 selected.

    TOEE (In Atari folder), right click > Properties. I have nothing selected under the compatibility tab.

    It seems to me, that there might be compatibility problems with TFE-X, not ToEE. I assume this because TFE tells TOEE to run, and it can.

    1. Move the game to C:\Games\TOEE (or D:\) and apply the no-cd patch (alternatively, uninstall and reinstall... but that is more work).
    2. go to control panel, make sure your user is an administrator (it should be) and disable UAC (user account controls)

    This should solve all your problems.
