@ Cujo Thanks for the video links!! The first one's on my myspace page now.
It really took me back. Reminded me why our fastest winger was afraid to take a hit.

I'm surprised I can see to type this message. I was so pumped that I had to hit my head against the wall a few times after watching the video. :dizzy:

    Thanks again.

Well, better get to fixin' that wall... :errf:

yeah but its old and dead, this new fresh one tastes way better.

@zuluwarrior94 - if you didn't know before, at the begining of the first vid is the start of a match between New Zealand and Tonga where both teams are doing their traditonal war dance at each other (the Haka for NZ and Sipi Tau for Tonga). The South Pacific Rugby playing nations like to kick off games that way - Fijians with the Cibi and Samoa with the Manu Siva Tau (and the Aussies love to sing a song about stealing sheep)

I let it go through to the keeper (reference to another great sport) but out here, you only have to do the nudie run at the end of a season, if you DON'T score a try. Its more of an incentive that way ;)

Anyways, since it is sinking in that I am older than Whatsername's (step) mum and barely 2 years younger than her dad, I am off to stick my head in an oven :smarty: Way to make me feel old! :suprised:

Don't feel bad, man. I'm only 46, and suffering memory lapses, and I think I may need bi-focals. I caught myself the other day saying something about "those damn kids and their weird music." GAAAACK! I'm just glad life expectancy isn't at the level of the era D&D emulates.

Since you're a Byrds fan, and-judging from a photo I saw here- either an Anglican or Catholic, here's a good sentiment: "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven.":peace:

Mine dates from the mid 90's. I discovered NHL as a game off course. And at that time a certain player named Wayne Gretzky was playing for the New York Rangers. And it happened to be the best player in the history of NHL and his number was 99.

That my story... Nothing more, nothing less than that....

I always wanted to work out some adventure/story line with this guy, but I quit rolling the dice (not by choice) around the time 2nd edition came out and never got around to it. Damn that was a while ago.

Fast forward many years and I figured I might as well use it for a username. :)

to hiijack this thread alittle - and I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere as well, but how did you guys find Co8, how long were you a lurker for and why did you sign up.

I found this site because I was looking for cheats and one txt file I downloaded had something about Co8 at the bottom of it so I came to the site, looked at one post and signed up straight away, wanting to get more cheats out of you guys.

I found co8 looking up the hidden door moathouse bug and I dled a mod which messed up my dad's file and then I would have had to explained to him that I dled something even though he specifically told me not to download anyhing and then I would've gotten yelled at so I reached out for help and it was given. :D

Woo, all in one burst of typing. Yay for run ons.

I came here from the Atari forums, I lurked for a fair while simply because there was a time when nothing much happened on the forums for long periods :)

Heh, interestingly enough, I also made a thread regarding "what our nicknames mean" quite a long time ago, here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2322

Speaking of how I came to the Circle of Eight... well, about 3.5 years ago I just lurked here as a guest, trying to find some info on the game and to see which modding possibilities it opens up (because I instantly came to love the game). Then, seeing that the modding situation was coming to a dead end (not much new content was being released, people were losing interest and leaving the boards fast, etc.), I decided to take a whack at writing some modding tools. I registered three years ago, and since then I was developing a custom ToEE toolset since the official one was never released. Sometimes I was successful, sometimes not very successful, and sometimes I failed, but that's another story. ;)
