    The starter pack you mentioned is indeed the last public thing released. Beta testing of the demo will hopefully begin in a few weeks, I'll get back to you ;)

    Kio11, what sort of things can you draw? We always need more portrait artists - any good at that? Post your sketches by all means :)

    if you're looking for material to learn how to digitally work on base sketches; imagineFX magazine has some interesting tutorials, but isnt cheap if you have to pay import-magazine prices :p

    Re: Starter Pack

    The starter pack has had its day. The next public release will be the demo, which is in the final stages of preparation before beta testing.

    as an ex-everything with no currently usefully programming skills;

    with enough gaming experience to be opinionated but not really useful;

    the same artistically;

    and some little experience in 'quality assurance' biut not on any modern engines...

    You tell me -

    I also have no perceptable programming skills, but have lots of experience playing games, including all of your awesome mods.

    If I can have any positive impact on KOTB, then I'd definitely like to try.

    I never even had an inkling of programming skills, unless you count switching the save disk for my copy of Might and Magic so I could get all the items off my other characters and sell them and then use the machine in Dusk to transfer money into xp.

    But that was back in 1988 or something anyway.

    I was, however, a creative writing major in college, and currently work as a document formatter, proofer, and editor for a small Biotech firm. How small? Small enough that I also am our resident FedEx expert as well as being the only one who knows ALL the functions of the copier/fax/scanner we just got.

    So, I would love to write some dialog/journals whatever is needed for KotB. I don't have a problem learning how to make dlg files either, just don't know where to start.

    Also, I'm pretty good at proofing...I've got a list of spelling/grammar errors in the ToEE mods right now, but I don't know where to post them.

    Anyway, sign me up.

    Hmmm... and I do mean hmmm...

    I dare say we can find work for you ;) Actually we have a couple of proof-readers with genuine credentials but I am always up for more dlg-makers - the more variety in the dlg files, the better the gaming experience. (Mine all sound very 'Name - Job - bye').

    Do you have a copy of the module?

    I'm cleaning out my basement and I found 2 copies of B2 in real good shape. I can let 1 go if someone is in dire need.

    Future Newspaper Article: Man Dead in College Station, TX. Cause of death believed to be Overanticipationitis (new condition caused by waiting for KotB).

    I just checked out the other threads with screenshots, soundtracks, etc. Oh My God!! It's gonna be AWESOME!!

    By the way, I also took Creative Writing in college and am definitely willing to help with dialogue, etc. I am a pretty good editor as well.

    Send me whatever, whenever, and I'll begin immediately.
