    What mmonagle said. The other thing is just to take them at level up and rely on the scrolls you find and buy to round out your other spells. If you play with more than one arcane user, then you can mix it up if that is what you may want for crafting.

    Otherwise you can also just give your clerics scribe scroll and then allow the mages to scribe them into their repertoire. :) (though not sure if that will actually work, as I have never tried it.)
