Yeah, if you fail to trip, your opponent can try to trip you back, so you have to be careful not to try tripping guys that are stronger than you. In pnp, you can drop your weapon instead of being tripped, but I don't think that works in ToEE.

Regenerating monsters still seem easier to CDG

All I am saying is that when I do a coup de grace on an unconscious regenerating monster in any combat situation it always kills (after any attacks of opportunity by other neighbouring monsters have been rolled and have not disrupted the coup de grace) but if I do a coup de grace on an unconscious non-regenerating monster it doesn't. This means to me that regenerating monsters, when unconscious are easier to kill than non-regenerating monsters, same conditions applying. This doesn't make sense to me.

coup de grace doesn't really work properly.

For the most part it only works when targets are magically held.

For instance you can coup de grace on a target that is under Hold Person/Hold Monster.

And yes, I made it so NPCs will use coup de grace if the opportunity arrises!

coup de grace does not normally work on unconcious characters in TOEE. Not sure why but I couldn't fix that.
