    Hey,

I'm trying to install ToEE on my laptop but I need to get the .Net framework but for some reason I can't get to the page where I can dl it. When I google it and click on it it just says "Oops, we can't find that page" or something like that. Could someone just send me the zip or rar if that's what it is? It's been so long since I've done it that I don't remember what it is.

Oops! We can't find the webpage you're looking for

That's what is says after about a minute of nothing. I'm going to try to install IE7 and then try it out.

I can't even download IE7! For some reason, I can't get to that either. Maybe my laptop has something against microsoft.

both IE7, and .net run off of Service Pack 2 (sp2), which you can get from the microsoft.com update page.

I had weird install issues with something once, turned out XP has spontaneously switched off Windows Installer. Maybe you need to get that going.

Right-click your desktop 'my computer' icon, select 'manage'. The go to 'services and applications', then 'services', scroll down the list til you find Windows Installer, right click and start it. Then try installing again.

    Might help

    Do THIS, first.

    Then, install THIS, next.

    Lastly, install THIS.

I tried it all... nothing is working. It might be because this laptop is so old, honestly.

EDIT: I just tried it on another computer, same results. Maybe a scratch on the CD is the issue?

---EDIT: That was precisely the reason. All fixed.:p
