Hmm, I did my install exactly as described in Zebedee's thread yet I do not have Verbabonc on my world map list. I have been able to get to it and make some good progress on the Gnome mission, but I talked to travel agent and went back to Hommlet. Now, I cannot seem to get back. My install procedure breaks down like so:

1. Install ToEE
2. Install Patch2 from Atari
3. Install Co8 5.0.0 via the snazzy installer (with all the module options selected).
4. Unrar Co8 5.0.2 cummulative into the ToEE directory
5. Launch the frontend and enable the following:

- Disable Intro Movies
- Show Exact HP for NPCs
- Humble NPCs
- Clean game cache on startup
- Max Level 10
- Change portrait pack to "all portraits"
- Select Co8-5.0.0 module

Did I miss something to get the Verbobonc option on my world map?

Yes, you did miss something.

The 5.0.2 installation instructions state the 5.0.0 must be the last module launched with Front End before you install 5.0.2.

That means you must start 5.0.0 with Front End, quit the game as soon as you have an option to, and then unrar 5.0.2 into your ToEE root directory.

Zebedee's instructions also tell you to do this, but you didn't mention it in your post.

BTW you Co8 folks have turned a game that was a disappointment into one of my favorites.

I was just wondering if there was a definate way to reach verbabonc because I rescued the elven maiden in the torchure chamber who usually marks it on my map so I do have it on the side bar but now she won't plus the merch in the 3rd lv of the temple dosn't seem to mark it on my map either? can a add on for turgeon to progress it in like nulb thereafter!? that way their is a failsafe for verbabonc game progression indefinately!

 

IIRC, Verbo is gone from 5.6.0
