would that work because as stated the +1 to hit doesn't stack? so after crafting it would just have the enchantment +1+3 still doing nothing for the racial +1. i mean it will take like ten seconds with world builder to make each sling. so not that big of a deal.

so in that case the masterwork halfling sling wouldn't even be different from the masterwork sling. could make the masterwork +4 to hit predicitng people to make it +3 enchanment. that would make it slightly better than it is supposed to be for a little bit, but not too overpowering. I mean Ipersonally would want the damage increase when it is only 1d3 and i am guessing others would as well.

if that last idea works for everyone else then i think i'll go with it.

You are going to do all that for a bonus that really only means anything at low levels? I think it is just too ripe for cheating.

How do you throw a club? I've wondered that since I started the game. Even with a throwing knife in hand my people will run up to the enemy and stab them.

Also, how do you set quick keys?

Set kwik keys by pressing control and the key in question, then clicking on the radial menu choice.

In order to throw a club, throwing dagger, javelin, spear, etc., you use the radial menu. Select Offense, then "Throw <xxx>" where <xxx> is the name of the weapon in hand. The option only shows up if the weapon is flagged as being able to be thrown.

The test was to definitively answer Sokaijin's question above about thrown items. I figured that it was just as easy to double-check the slings as well.

Still looking through the temple.dll file. NOT pretty. All hail the big M for his work on that!

If you have the Quick Draw feat, and multiple throwing items in your inventory (e.g. darts), will throwing the equipped one automatically equip another of the same type?

I'm guessing 'No', which makes using a knife-thrower build rather cumbersome (hotkey to throw, then open inventory, click to equip, escape, hotkey to throw, etc).

Better just to use a sling or light crossbow (with rapid reload).

I was just going to console in mwk thrown items only to overcome not having the racial bonus, not to cheat per-se. Which is now a moot point since the +1 racial bonus for thrown items is there. I would still do it for the sling, if I use a halfling, which is rare. Guess I'm a racist that way.

As if there isn't enough trouble in the other thread which you helped dredge up. Keep it up, and you'll be out on your ass. Spamming morons have NO place here.

Careful, you might hurt my feelings. If I had any, that is.

Erm... hello? Aren't we overreacting a bit here? The "racist" bit was clearly ironical.

Indeed it was. But it can be difficult to detect such things without the benefit of hearing tone, or seeing expression etc... Plus, Spike doesn't seem to appreciate my sense of humor. I'm not a racist, I'm a heightist. Hence, no halflings.:poke:

The only thing clear to me is that they do have a place here. No one else (with any authority) is bothering to react at all to his repeated bad advice & mindless postings; and I'm over-reacting.

Your' right, Suck-eye-jin...I don't appreciate it. You should clean up your act.

Morph...thanks for letting me know where I stand.

Ouch... Suck-eye...ooh... good one. There, is that mindless enough for you?
I wasn't going to respond to this very insightful attack, but decided that it was too good to let pass.
