Well I had a chance to get at Brother Smyth's bag of goodies and thought I would just see if my hobbit druid could use a tower shield. Not only is it metal, but is supposed to be huge. Well it was equipped with no penalties and the animation of her running around with it is hilarious. Now I thought druids could not use metal sheilds or armor. Guess it is just another quirk of the game.
Yes she can, as well as wild shape. I even have Druid in some Troll Bone Armor. Strange get up with that armor and a bone helm. Just need to have her become an Avenger of Nature against the evil hordes streaming from the depths of the Temple.
