Gnomes? and other questions The house behind the brewery is empty. Is there supposed to be a gnome there, or does this have to do with Lubash? Killed Lubash already - where are the gnomes? Oh, yeah, unrelated, but I saw that it is possible for the traders to reveal Lareth's location. Do they just point out the moathouse or the Cave exit? Any plan to have an early revelation of the location of Nulb? Personally, I think the jeweler should be the one to fess-up. Now, if only we could think of something for the cheesemaker..... Oh, I noticed that Warp Wood was added. What does it do / How do you use it?
Re: Gnomes? and other questions That was Frank's house. Desparate Housewives The Moathouse gnomes went to Verbobonc. Yes, that Cheesemaker is suspicious and under-utilised. And there all these suspicious people in brown robes hanging around town.
If you mean having Nulb available before the moathouse and Lareth, then that would involve some major scripting. It would put the storyline out of sequence. Everyone knows where Nulb is at and you could pick up the xp for Nulb quests before the moathouse. I don't think it will happen. Too drastic a change in the storyline.
Well, I did get the bug once or twice that gave me the dialogue line about clearing Moathouse before I ever went there. Opens up Nulb on the map.
So, if I want to see the Gnomes in their "natural state", should I try 3.0.4? I believe having Mickey tell you where Nulb is (before cleaning the Moathouse) would be the obvious choice. I will mod that soon. Warp wood? Anyone? Anyone?
The gnomes are held prisoner in the Moathouse where they've always been. If you release them, they later appear in Verbobonc. There has never been a gnome in the house behind the brewery. The traders, from memory, just give you the regular Moathouse location. Big thanks Gaear! I have played through 3 times and I have never seen any gnome prisoners. I have a feeling my screen resolution is darker than everyone else's. Which room are they in? Is there any way to find the Moathouse Cave Exit from the outside (as one could do with PnP by tracking, for example).
Poor gnomes! Two weeks game time since killing Lubash - I wonder how they could survive. Now all I need to know is which map has Jay's ring (True Neutral). Could it be in the Temple??? What triggers Global Flag 410 (Have spawned Jay's ring)? I already talked to him and handled to Corl situation (though Corl still lives - damn, I wish Sitra were still here).
