    My beard is 15 years old. I started it long after I was bald. Those two facts are related.

    One of the things to keep in mind is that a new beard usually looks like hell from the first week to the sixth week. After that, there aren't more hairs growing in, the hairs are just finally long enough to blend together and cover the irregularities.

    Important fact: Most chicks who like beards are little girls. They like to pat my bald head, too.
