    Gaear- Thanks for those. I'm *pretty* sure I did look over the 1st 2 links. But not the Vista one. (I'm on XP) But at this point, I'll try anything & take a look.

    As per the "runtime" thread I started here, I'm 99% sure the problem is my laptop settings or something. Not the patches/ discs. :(
