How do I suppose to go on killing a patrol member without being seen and branded as a criminal? Where can I find one, exactly? Thanks
Another player stated that the best place to murder a Verbobonc Guard is north of the river because there are no civilians walking around that part of Verbobonc, so you can't get caught. If you botch the quest by being seen murdering a guard, then an alternative ending to the quest will play out. It is worth botching this quest on one occasion to see the alternative ending - it is psychedelic! But save your game before you botch the quest so that you can complete the quest upon reloading.
Thanks for the response. Took me a while to figure out what to do. I found my victim right inside the City Hall. Funny that I did it right under their noses. Cool, thanks for mentioning the alternative conclusion. I'll make sure to check it out; good thing I keep a lot of saves.
