What is wrong with specialised teams? Split the development into Areas in the game. Or into graphics team, Dialogue team, etc. Of course the head honcho should say what needs to be done, and be the arbiter on this kind of thing. Make a general outline of what you want in the module and stick with it. Don't keep saying 'wouldn't it be cool if...' Leave that for the next module, and keep on slugging away at the design doc that you have already laid out. I have heard that this is the way successful mods are made and completed. I am no authority on the matter, but the logic seems to be sound. However, the design doc needs to be in place. With it, a list of 'things to do' and a united vision. Obviously Ted's word should be final on this Module. And whoever initiates the next one should have the final word and so on. At the moment theres little a person can do but read about what others are doing in their own time, or off their own bat, instead of having a general plan to which the common work is being drawn towards. Just my take on it. Feel free to ignore.
