Fear of Ghosts help

SO I have an odd issue...I talk to all three ghosts, they disappear as they are supposed to...but the quest never shows up in my log. However, I travel to the MOathouse, kill the snake, and get th body parts.

However, upon return (at night) the ghosts are all missing. I have pixel hunted, changed back and forth between maps, and no ghost. It still doesn't show the quest in my quest log either.

Thoughts?

 

When you returned with the body parts did you try resting in the keep?

 

Yes, a couple times. Didn't seem to do anything. And the quest still doesn't show up in my log book, even though I successfully talked to the ghosts, and it triggered the snake/parts.
