Am I the only one who thinks that falchions are horribly underrated and overlooked in general, considering that they're 2D4 two handed weapons with original crit range 18-20, factor 3? that means it can potentially have a crit range of 15-20 (factor 6) when imbued with a keen weapon enchantment! i tried this with a fighter that i gave weapon focus and improved crit, and when he started getting secondary attacks, it was rare that he didn't score at least one crit per attack. Needless to say, he did MASSIVE damage. it's true that greatswords and greataxes can potentially do more damage, but they will do so much less frequently.
