I have a load of 5.0x era save games and I would like to retrieve information about my old characters- names, classes, etc- so I can recreate them with 5.5. Can this be done? I know I could just reinstall the old modpack, write everything down, remove it and install the new modpack but that seems like it would be a lot of work.
I do not know if this will work but at one time there were some "trainers" posted at Sorcerers place that allowed you to modify or view stats of a charachter. The character files are still in the original Atari format as the CO8 mod pulls from these files... http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/ToEE/index_editors.php
