One of the best campaigns I played in was evil based. Using RM and set in the ICE middle-earth modules, we were the evil version of the atypical adventuring party. I played an Angmarean warrior-priest, whicle the party also included a half-troll as well as a couple of orcs. If you've played Vampire pnp then that should give you some idea on how the moral issues were dealt with.

And what about those ridiculous 'do-gooder' vampires like Blade or Angel? I mean really... <sigh>
Hey i like the sound of that... have a cookie!

<reaches for cookie bag, then remembers...>

    <slinks off quite crestfallen>

riddic was a medicore movie. Most evil campaigns aren't based on stupid things like "Who is the better killer" you play EVIL people not sociopathes. The part when they played that "game" was definatly the low point of the movie.

    Zebedee... that sounds nice...

    And as for the
The target audience of angel is stupid angsty teen girls... young teens.
And blade was not a vampire...

Furthermore, in dnd vampires are inherantly evil... NOT SO IN OTHER MYTHOLOGY!

BTW, if you read the definitions in the monster manual you will see that "always evil" means that: most of the creatures of this kind are evil, if this is a gained template, then a creature will become evil, but they can repent and become good or neutral!
So there ARE good vampires in DnD, they are just very rare since it requires a vampire to repent and atone for being evil. (and why would someone evil want to do that!)

I recently found the Q1 module in the basement and read over it. Today I finished the moathouse and was reading Lareths diary and he had grand plans to make Lolth the boss. I could see an evil group helping Lareth further his ambitions against Iuz and company. I might even get involved in a scenario like that. That Lolth is one wicked monster woman(?)demon. Demon Zugg and her fungi just doesn't cut it. Maybe a high level quest after the waternode?

Actually, no. The audience of Angel is both men and women of all ages. Though the majority seems to be women in their late 20s to early 30s.

"Stupid angsty teen girls" watch shows like Dawson's Creek or 90210 (I don't talk to angsty teen girls anymore, so I have no idea what they actually watch these days.)

Actually, always evil means always evil. It's an essential part of their nature. Usually evil means that the creature in question has a possibility of changing or being a different alignment.

no, it does not... that what it means in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE, but if you read the DnD books you will see that by THEIR definition of always evil it means MOSTLY evil. It is writen explicitly in the core!
This has been discussed ad nasium in the wizards forum, I would link to the thread, but I cannot find a search function there.
Instead, I will just reference page 305 of the monster manual.
Furthermore, the errata made clear that if you are permanently transformed into such a creature, such as by lycantropy (if you willingly transform), or becoming a demon through certain prestigue classes, or any other way, you will have your alignment changed immidiatly, but it can be changed back later on.
