Thanks. Section 21 was a hard one to get finished, as the holidays are sucking up time. Hopefully I'll be able to stick to my writing schedule a bit better for a while.

Great work, but isn't Kara-Tur a continent present in Forgotten Realms?

When originally introduced in 1985's Oriental Adventures, Kara-Tur was on the other side of Oerth from the Flanaess. I understand later products have it on another planet (or "Plane-ette" if you like). Think "Made in China", although I'd argue that it should say "Made in Shou Lung" (or T'u Lung) if it were supposed to be from Aebir-Toril rather than from Oerth.

Yup, as usual Lord Spike's D&D lore is correct. Kara-Tur was originally meant to be part of Oerth, and that's where I like it. It gives a source for all the Asian weapons floating around the Flanaess, and a source for the martial arts and Chi powers of the monks that sort-of makes sense.

From part 21 I guess your having trouble finding the NPC's who tell you about Lareth's location? It's actually Rannos Davl and Gremag who hint at his location, but since you've killed them already, perhaps a "Speak with Dead" spell? Or just being nosey in Burne's tower will help you out a bit?

Not exactly; the problem is that once the characters know where he is, they can start digging through the Temple without "raising an alarm" (the excuse I've used to keep them out so far). That leaves them without much in-story reason for going to Nulb. So, I'm using another way to get them to Nulb before they discover Lareth's location.

This is absolute brilliance. I had wanted to do some fic on this, but about five days ago I spotted your thread and well...kinda pointless there being two stories going in the same paradigm.

    Hey Old Book:

Hope to read "Part the Twenty Second" some time in the near future, I realize you have many other irons in the fire, (like great dialouges for KotB) but as a fan of your story telling I find it difficult to wait. :)

This is just a request from one of your readers :nerd:

OMG - where's the rest of the story!?!? This rocks?! You are a great writer, and I bow in awe of your skills.

    So...get writing, man!

(I am SO summoning a chicken)

And my priestess of Wee Jas always wears her corset while in town...to bad she has to replace it with armor when in the field...

Now, I have to get back to the reading...
